6 days post-op and doing great!

WORTH IT$9,420
I am at 35 cc drainage and hoping to get my drain and belly button stitches removed tomorrow (one week post-op). I've been sticking to a keto diet (less than 20 g of carbs per day), taking MakeMeHeal post operative vitamins and supplements for bruising and swelling, and I'm also taking arnica Montana for the swelling. I think each of these things has aided my recovery significantly. I love my results so far.

Dr. James E. Murphy is an amazing doctor and is truly an artist! Though I have not had my TT yet, I had a full lift and augmentation and am amazed at the skill he has. I tell everyone I know to go to him for any plastic surgery. I knew when I went to consults for other surgeons in my area that with their best work in their before and afters looking bad that there was no way I could trust them with my body. I will return to Dr. Murphy for every procedure I ever get.

looking good!! you are going to have a tiny waist!!
You look really good so far! i am scheduled for 2/12 and am really nervous. I am thin and in shape but have loose belly skin and a bulge from twins. I keep going back and forth wondering if the scar will be worth it. Did you battle this and if so how do you feel now?
Honestly, I was so upset about the loose skin that I was ok with a scar and also with my tattoo being cut up. I felt like I'm too young to never show my stomach again and knew I wanted the surgery.
I hear you. I am over my loose skin too. Just want to be guaranteed a good result, as I know results vary. I am fit and at desired weight and in good health so should be good. Can't wait to see your continuing healing. You look great already. Take care
How are you doing and feeling? I would love to see your continued results. Thanks for sharing.

TT is done!

I had my surgery on 1/12/18 and am on day 2 post-op. I am in a lot of pain, but that is to be expected after a muscle repair and tummy tuck. I have yet to take my binder off so I have not seen my result, but I told Dr. Murphy what concerns I had before surgery and he let my husband know he spent extra time in these areas just to make sure they came out the way I wanted.
I will update with pictures as soon as I take my binder off. I am excited to see the result and also go bikini shopping!

ORIGINAL POST

So, this is the second time I have been here on RS...

So, this is the second time I have been here on RS. In 2010, I had gained and lost 50 pounds, which left me with saggy and deflated breasts. I had a full lift and augmentation, which I continue to love! Fast forward to today and I have a new set of issues.
In 2014, I became pregnant with my first son. I gained 70 pounds during pregnancy and was able to lose the 70 pounds through diet. My tummy was flabby and I had very little definition, but I knew I would be having more children so I did not seriously consider surgery at that time. In 2015, I became pregnant with my second son and gained ANOTHER 70+ pounds, but this time I knew I was done having children. Over the past 15 months I have worked hard to lose the weight I gain and have gone from 220 pounds to 130 pounds. My goal is to get to 125 pounds.
My significant weight loss and two pregnancies resulted in a lot of excess skin on my belly that cannot be fixed without surgery. In early October I went to the same surgeon who completed my full lift and BA, Dr. James E. Murphy of Northern Nevada Plastic Surgery in Reno, NV. The man is an artist and I would never trust someone else to cut into my body, so there was no question that I would be going to him again.
Dr. Murphy did my consult and agreed I would need a full tummy tuck to take care of my loose skin, as well as tightening of my abdominal muscles through permanent sutures. I was quoted $9,420 for the procedure and I scheduled January 12, 2018. I wish I could get it done sooner, but I am currently full-time in graduate school, full-time employment and 15 hours week in an internship - along with having two children under the age of 3. I will be having my TT while I am on winter break.
Over the next 96 days I will be working on losing my last 5 pounds of fat and trying to replace it with muscle. I want the very best results from my TT and know that you should be where you want to be BEFORE getting surgery or your results will not be optimal. My hope is to come out of surgery with a 6 pack (once swelling goes down, of course).

I am also having my TT at the beginning of next year (1/15). Good luck losing those last few pounds. I will be here right along side you preparing for surgery and we can go through recovery together
How was surgery? I'm 1 week post-op and am so happy with the result!
Good luck and keep us posted! Will you have someone help you watch your kiddos? I have two under three myself so I am worried about lifting them.
My mom watches them during the day and my husband cares for them at night. You will need some help with lifting for at least a few weeks, so if you have a good support network who can help, that would be awesome.
