As a mother of a 3- and a 5-year-old, I desire more confidence. After our trip to the beach in July, 2017, I've been beating myself up. I've been working out an average of 5 x per week, completing HIIT workouts. My diet sucks, but I've been following the "all things in moderation" diet, with the exception of heavily processed - I rarely eat "junk food" and try like heck not to eat fast food more than once a week. I prepare the majority of my family dinners from scratch. I have also cut down my alcohol consumption and recently weaned off of Zoloft. I had delayed-onset postpartum depression, tried counseling first, but had to go on the medication. I had been too afraid to stop, although I was on the lowest dose. I feel adjusted, but not sure I'll stay off (my line of work is rough).
I recently competed genetic testing to make sure I'm not a BRCA gene carrier and also don't have any other cancer-associated genes (I have a family history of breast, thyroid, vaginal, and colon cancers). Praise God, I'm not a carrier. I feel I'm moderately health conscious and generally healthy.
I feel I've been checking the boxes on my journey to make an informed, sensible decision. I've felt guilty and entitled, but after discussing this with my hubby, he repeatedly said, "You don't need anything done, but I support you if you want this for yourself. You sacrificed your body for our 2 beautiful, healthy babies, it's the least I can do for giving me the gift of being their dad." He's a keeper ????. Although I'm sure my husband won't mind the benefits, I'm doing this for ME. I learned about the procedure in 2015 and have been dreaming about and researching it since.
I hope to do my fellow mama's a great service by documenting my journey. I hope to boost my confidence, lose my belly pooch and love handles, and perk up my breasts a little.

I just saw this. I ended up ordering a ContourMD. It's horrible to say, but I'll probably get some sterilizing wash and put it on Poshmark when I'm done with it, LOL
