WORTH IT
What can I say Mr marando is a genius I can honestly say I haven't had any pain whatsoever .im still wearing the binder I'm feeling exceptionally flat ,today I've been out shopping for a few hours I feel amazing .
I haven't got the pre op photos yet when I do I will put some on and also the post op ones

Mini abdomniplasty

Hi everyone 18 months ago I had a full abdomniplasty with Andrea Marando at the spire Macclesfield Cheshire .the result was amazing and I was thoroughly delighted .
Sadly due to some personal circumstances I lost some weight and became sad with how my tummy tuck had changed as the idea is normally you've lost weight and therefore want the abdomniplasty to remove the excess skin.
I contacted Mr marandos secretary the lovely Martina who made a appointment.
I saw Mr Marando in March he was as always the perfect gentleman he listened looked and totally understood and as I said to him this was by no means a reflection of the previous surgery as I had been 100% happy.
I had my surgery last Wednesday the recovery has been astounding I can honestly say I've felt no pain at all the only discomfort is the binder but I can live with that ,I was discharged the same day have had no problems what so ever .I saw Mr marando yesterday 9th may 5 days post op every thing is healing very well I'm still amazed at how mobile I've been from day one. I don't have any photos as yet but I will add them as soon as I receive them.
All I can say if your thinking of having any cosmetic surgery go along have a chat and discuss any procedures with Mr marando ,he will take the time to explain answer any questions you will not feel pressured or hurried at the appointment .
I'm not planning any further surgeries as I've only really been unhappy with my tummy after child birth and 2 major operations which is when I became unhappy .

six months post op Bikini shot

It's now been six months since my op where has the time gone ?
We are now coming into summer and I'm so looking forward to wearing a bikini on the beach for the first time in 40 years.
Thanks to Andrea Marando who has enabled me to do this His hard work and me doing exactly as he has told me has obviously paid off .
I really can't thank you enough Andrea.
All I can say is if you decide to have any kind of procedure just do as you are told and remember none of us are the same we all have different helping factors what works for one doesn't necessary work for another,be patient and don't push your self too hard and think of the hard work Andrea has done also the hard work you will put in to get the best recovery for you.
Good luck to anyone waiting remember if you have concerns or just need reassurance there are plenty of ladies on here who have experienced the same and will be glad to help.P's thank you to everyone on here for sharing your experiences .

Hi Glynis hope you are doing ok I know you still have swelling and it's really frustrating it will go it just takes time.
Have you thought of the lymphatic draining massages they really do work.
I had amazing time at the wedding every thing went perfect for us .
We'll it's not really bikini weather here in UK think I probably need a holiday in warmer climate lol

Can't find anybody that does the massages round here nearest is Mancester so far been looking.

Hi yes the weather was good and so was the day .
Have you Google lymphatic massages Nelson or another local town that's how I found my lady.it's a good idea to try the hospice they might be able to help.
sorry your still swollen but do remember you have been opened twice and it is still early days I was still swelling till recently.

as I have said in each of my reviews if you do exactly as Andrea tells you and listen to your body you will be fine
I don't regret one moment apart from not having it done sooner .

Hi Toni S I'm having my TT done on the 6th June with Andrea at Macclesfield . Cheshire Cat is having hers done on 4th June with Andrea at The Bridgewater . So we can support each other through recovery

I'm also going to bridgewater it looks lovely it's about a hour and a half travel time from my home so I'm a little worried about the journey back after the op x

You'll be ok Toni's get a pillow for between seat belt you won't feel a thing you will be still num I went home 3 days after worrying about the humps in the rd etc but never felt a thing .

That's a good idea to use a pillow I will definitely take one with me , I've also been told to take some tablets for the bruising but can't remembe the name of them did you take them and were did you get them xx

Ah thanks I'm really feeling good now mentally and physically I think I'm quite impatient person and expected to be back to normal after 6 weeks truth be known to make a full recovery and the swelling to go it took about 5 months but worth every minute. This will be you soon and at least you have the summer to look forward to which according to weather forecast it's going to be a very hot one so fingers crossed xx

I posted a question on here with photos about my swelling after I noticed you had asked one before.
Got Two answers and feel a bit better about it now I haven't seen Andrea for 3 weeks I miss our meetings.lol He's been absolutely brilliant with me seen him every week sometime twice I will be seing him in a week or two, so I will feel Evan better after I seen him.
Think my minds been running a bit to much. Watch a video of massage on YouTube might have a go myself. I can't Seem to find any one near me that does it, don't mind traveling a bit but a hour is a bit to far by time you've sat in a car comming back you won't feel the benefit.
Any way I have asked the sun to come out for you and your bikini,s.
We have booked holiday to Fuerteventur for September in a villa with our own pool with friends so should be great. Trying to loose more wieght now not much more but 7/10 lbs will do might help as well.

ah bless you don't be losing too much weight as when your swelling goes and it will coz you will end up with lose skin
you have a lively holiday to look forward to so you best get some bikinis .
We are going to the states for a month in august so I'm looking forward to that.
I saw Andrea on 8th May will see him later in the year just for a yearly check and decide if I want any liposuction but I'm using the vibrate plate daily and swimming I've only used the plate every day last week and I can see a difference.

Glad you like the plate but don't let your head shake to much, but it will really do your legs. My legs are thin sticks as Andrea put it to the top half. No bikinis for me ever. I tryed some shorts on today size 14 miles to big and could have got both legs in one.
I have one but not gone it yet letting things settle down might try going swimming next week been a bit apprehensive about going cos my skin is so tight at top of legs in groin area..
Your a right globe trotter you're never at home these days alright for some. Hope you enjoy it. We have booked for Kos for next summer with Stephens son Chris and my son Chris and both families they wanted to book early good job we did got last rooms.

Just let you know I have found some ones who does the massage going on Monday, it's just 20 miniutes away.
Sounds like your happy again, I know your personal history and I take my hat off to you,you are such a wonderful person your self you deserve the very best and you will certainly have got it with Mr Marando at star clinic at Mancester.
I am so glad your happy with your results and can't wait to see the new photos.
