I been researching about this 5 months ago and there is no turning back. I motivated to rid the eyebag & dark circles once & for all. How many times have I been asked of my sleep last night because I look sleepy
“NOPE, I SLEPT WELL. THANKS FOR ASKING. THATS MY EYEBAG”
After much research, I decided on REGEN medical in South Korea. Being one of the established and popular plastic surgery Hospitals, I’m happy to have select them.
The name of my procedure is trans-conjunctival fats repositioning, whereby it smooths out the sagged fats in our undereye thereby removing the eyebag and concealing the dark circles.
Killing 2 birds with 1 stone!!!!
AND the effect of this procedure is known to last up to 10 years. Amazing
I arrive Korea on December 24, Merry Christmas ~ this is the best gift for myself. And my operation is scheduled on Dec 26 so I took the time to explore around.
Location of the hospital is easily accessible and can be located if you follow the instructions. And trust me that I’m a map Idiot yet I find it hassle free.
• Shinnonhyeon Subway station (Line 9)
• Exit 6
• 50m away (it’s a no miss)
My appointment on Dec 26 was a breeze, I arrive at 9am and I proceeded to level 15th for the administrative registration procedures (the whole tower is Regen Medical).
I was attended by their friendly staff who assisted & guided me throughout the consultation because I speak not a word of korean.
The only downside was that the hospital was rather freezing, perhaps the temperature outside is really too cold though.
I was assigned to doctor Woo Jung Kim, he was very professional and he gave good constructive advice. As you can see from my before surgery photos, my eyebags and dark circles made me looks a lot older than I should, Doctor Woo Jung Kim suggested to cut away the sagging skin from my eye area for optimal result.
With that, I was escorted to level 14th for the surgery. I was put to sleep in less than 5 mins and when I woke up, I was all bandaged up and then wheelchair to a bed in a waiting room for me to wake up from the drug effect.
Apparently as you can see from the photos, the surgery went very well. Dark circles are no longer visible, and under eye area smooth.
Under eye area needs to be bandaged for a minimum 3 to 7 days for support & to aid recovery.
I was prescribed painkiller, anti inflammatory, swelling medication, eye drops and an ointment, medication is not included in the fees. A prescription will be given and can be obtained downstairs at basement.
Payment of VISA, MasterCard, Alipay are all accepted.
Stay tuned to my blog for more updates daily.

Hi ngpatsy! So did you have your consultation and surgery on the same day? I love your results! Did they tell you that they get a lot of out of country patients?

Can I ask how long is recovery after getting your surgery? I am planning on going to get my eye bags done too; I am curious if two weeks is enough for me to vacation but also have the surgery done. I'm very thankful to have stumbled onto your post and the outcome is amazing!

Back in Singapore, I removed my bandaged on 4th day then the stitches on day 5th.
Healing at its optimal, I use hot & cold pack at intervals.
Vitamin C aid recovery :)

Blurred vision

Swelling went down so much, not many people could even have tell that I just had a procedure done 8 days ago.
Winter have definitely aided my recovery tremendously.
Blurred vision like cloud blinding my vision, consulted the hospital and was informed that it is one of the normal side effects which should not last more than 2 weeks.

Your genuine recommendation in this RealSelf platform is worth a million adverts thrown at me during my research about Gangnam. Daunting be gone!
