WORTH IT
After researching and meeting with doctors for years I finally booked my breast reduction and lift for July 24th! A little over two weeks away. I'm so excited. I've aways had bigger boobs 36 DD but as I've gotten older they've lost volume/shape and have become droopy. I hate wearing bathing suits and they prevent me from wearing a lot of cute tops because strapless bras arent really an option for me. I'm hoping to go down to a full C and have happy perky boobs like a 23 year old should !

I've started prepping for my surgery on monday, after speaking with my doctor and some friends who've done it. Here is a list of everything.
- Prescription pain meds, I was prescribed Percocet and Neurotin.
-Prescription Bactroban ointment (work in the emergency room using it as a precaution..I'm exposed to some pretty nasty stuff at work. No infections!)
- Tylenol 500mg (I'm hoping they will provide me with enough comfort/pain relief..I'm not comfortable taking Percocet)
- 5 front clasp sports bras
- Stool softener and laxatives
-Probiotics
- A maternity pillow ( full body support..expensive but worth it)
- Mederma scar oil
- Button down shirts
- Sterile gauze and medical tape
- 2 good books lol

I am having my reduction August 31st. How soon do you start to apply the mederma?

My doctor said I can start using mederma and silicone sheets on my left breast at about 3 1/2 weeks post op because everything is closed up. My right breast I'm using ointment still because I still have a pretty big open wound :( I guess it depends on how quickly your incisions close up!
