I'm a 38 year old female from Sydney, Australia and I always hated being told that I looked tired. And under my eyes looked hollow.
So I researched on the Internet for an expert in the tear trough area to fix my problem. I wasn't interested in beauty clinics who use a nurse. I wanted a doctor with years of experience who has an eye for detail.
I came across Dr George Calfas who is in Randwick. I made an appointment over the phone and was given an appointment the following week.
I went there for an initial consultation and the receptionist/ admin worker made me feel so comfortable. Dr George Calfas saw me and he was the most nicest, friendliest, professional Doctor I had met. I told him about my problem under my eyes. He listened to every word I said and addressed all my concerns.
He told me that under my eye will need 2-3 sessions over a 3 month period. And that he will be using perlane under my eye and tear trough area. He said he will be correcting and contouring the under eye area and told me that there will be minimum to no brushing as he will be injecting through the cheek with a blunt cannula. And that swelling will be for about 3 to 4 days.
So I got the first treatment in October. Dr Calfas injected through the cheek through a blunt cannula 1ml in both under eye areas. It wasn't painful and no bruising. Swelling lasted 4 days then it quickly went down and then after 2 weeks all little swelling went down and on the third week I went back for my follow up and check up.
Dr Calfas had to inject another 1ml in both under eyes and tear trough and contour the under eye area. He said I will need one more time. Dr callas is very conservative. He doesn't overfill that's why he does it over 3 sessions.
I only got a yellow bruise right under my eye which went away in 2 days. I had swelling for 4 days and then all the minor little swelling went away within 2 weeks.
In December I went for my last session and Dr Calfas injected 1ml for both eyes. He injected the bone under the eye so I look like I have a cheek and not flat straight down from the eye.
I didn't bruise and swelling was 4 days and 2 weeks after I saw the final result.
I love my results. I'm so happy. Everyone told me I look so young. I don't look hollow or tired anymore. I am so happy to have come across Dr George Calfas. He is the best at what he does. He doesn't overfill or make you look un natural. His results are natural. He is a true artist in what he does. I'm so happy now with the way I look.
I only have positive things to say about Dr George Calfas because he has done an amazing job for under my eyes. I'm very grateful. I look in the mirror and I love what I see. I get compliments from all my family and friends.
