What helped you to the final decision on vaserlipo? I just got the regular liposuction on Thursday the 22nd on my upper/lower abs waist and bra rolls. I can see the improvement in my waist but my stomach NOT! I'm 4 days post op so I'm hoping it's just swelling. Good luck on your healing process!

Thank you, I'm ready to be healed after only 8 days, lol. After researching and reading the reviews, vaserlipo was a better option for me. The swelling is serious. It put pounds on the scales, I'm just ready for all the swelling part to be over with. It seem like one day the swelling is down and then it's back. Oh, and the itching is crazy at times. Good luck to you to.

I'm happy to see someone more my size to compare, I'm really thinking about having this procedure done, your post have really been helpful. How long before you can work again?

cjohnson6, my procedure was done on a Saturday where the Monday was a Holiday. I went back to work that Tuesday. I felt fine. I think it's better to have it on a Friday or Saturday because you'll have less days to miss out of work. Unless, you want to take an entire week off. But, I had to get back to work. The stomach area will feel a little sore/numb. But, everyone heal differently. As of today, it has been 2 weeks and 2 days. I'm still a little sore in some areas. It's still hard to put on my shoes because the lower area is still a little sore. It is very important to wear that tight compression garment. To me, it holds everything together and helped push out that extra fluid over time. I plan to post more pictures when my 1 month approach. Everyone tell me, they notice but you know we are our biggest critics. Good Luck. PS: Don't get on the scales. The fluids will have you weighing more than your original weight. I went up to 209 form 203 and today, I'm at 202, but my stomach is no where near where it was initial. I'm looking forward to my 1st month.

How are you doing over a year later? Are you still happy with your results?

I'm sorry, just seeing this post. Unfortunately, the weight came back and now I'm just relying on my gym workout with my trainer.

Ok, here's my pictures from my procedure 1/17/2015

Ok, I was nervous and all that, but my Doctor and her entire staff made me feel so comfortable. The procedure was a breeze. I had my upper/lower abs done and I had no serious pain. The belly button area was sensitive, but the my Doctor was very careful and added more medicine in that area to numb me. After the procedures, here assistants force a lot of the fluids out of me and then bandage me up. I felt great and still do. I got me a paste dish to eat before I took any meds and I think this help a lot. I also drink Gatorade and Pedialyte every two hours. Serious feeling good. My stomach area feels like I did 100 sit-ups for the first time, so the soreness is about a 4 or 5, but not bad. The picture that I'm attaching is the day after on 1/18/2015. I am in the temporary garment, the lower part looks like a pouch because of the padding. But, there are also attached pictures that I've pulled the garment below the pouch. I will get my compression garment tomorrow. I will try and post more pictures after my 1st week. I'm please with my results so far.

Monday, 1/19/2015 - woke up sore this morning, more than yesterday. I took some pain meds and washed up and changed my bandages and felt a whole lot better. All my incisions are healing beautifully. On my way back to doctor today. So far so good, no major problems and I'm feeling pretty good. Tomorrow I'll be going to work. I know that will be interesting since I sit about 80% of the day.

I went in for a consultant today. I'm not sure...I'd like a private message from you, if you don't mind.

Congrats on making it through your procedure. Did they tell you how much they took out? Are you going to wear a compression garment? Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us!
January 20, 2015
I do not know the exact amount, but I can find out and share it. The last I heard, while procedure was going on was 1700cc, but that was in the first big cup/tub or whatever they call the collection container. Yes, my I will be wearing my compression garment, it should be in this week.

Today I'm 4 days after post op and the soreness has really set in. I didn't go to work today, just wanted to stay home. I sit mostly on my job and I just didn't feel like going in today. I worked a half a day yesterday and the soreness got to me a little. The feeling is not "pain" just soreness.
