So i have been reading some very helpful posts on realself so I thought I would join in! I've had my 390cc saline implants for 3 years, I was a B before and am now a DD. I HATE THEM!! I am going for a consultation on April 29 and I am so excited to schedule my procedure appointment. I can't wait to be able to dress my body and not dress my boobs and find bathing suits and RUN!! I feel like I'm a prisoner in my own body!! I would love to hear any similar stories and hear successes from people who have had theirs removed similar to mine, I am nervous about how I will look after, but not nervous enough to not get them out!

I am feeling the same way about mine. I have had them for a little over ten years. My fear is what will they look like once they are removed. Anyone who can answer this please do

THEY'RE OUT!

Yesterday was the day I had my explant, and BOY DO I FEEL GREAT! I was so nervous before going in because I opted out of taking medicine and only did local anesthetic, but I am happy i chose that route. I had 390cc in my right and 410 cc in my left, had them in for 3 years, saline under the muscle, and they already look pretty good!! The skin isnt compromised at all, the upper pole is pretty empty, but I think this will get better over the next couple weeks/months. My nipples are higher than they were before explant and I look 15lbs skinnier!! (thats the best part). Anyone that has been debating on whether or not to get their implants out, my suggestion is to go with your gut!!! I am so happy to be natural again, and can not wait to buy normal size bras and clothing! Anyone that is going through the same, feel free to ask any questions!!

Thank you so much for sharing your story! I sound just like you - B to a DD which I HATE. I found this site looking for Dr. recommendations, and I'm so glad I stumbled on it. Do you have any other advice or updates? After reading people's stories here I am sure I will be SO much happier with these dang things out...

Can you please let me know how much the explant cost? I'm so ready to get these out.

It's been almost a year and a half since my explant and I'm going back for a consult to get a lift. Definitely don't want an implant just want these puppies lifted!!! I think it could be done pretty easily considering my skin quality and breast tissue. I need advice!!

You look awesome!!! I am on a journey of getting mines removed as well. I just got BA last week and know it's not for me. I've been so emotional and ppl keep telling me that it's the healing process but I know my mind, body, and soul. These things in me are not for me. I hope you well on your journey of getting a lift :)

I don't think you really need a lift. Your breasts look great to me!
But if you are determined to go through with it, there is a good surgeon in your area - Dr. Stoeckel at Wake Plastic Surgery. Look at his pictures of breast lifts online. Good luck!

I don't have any advice but you were smart to explant then wait and see if you wanted a lift. Have you tried posting a question to the doctors on the site with your pictures? that can be helpful.
You will feel so much better when this is done. It's crazy how our boobs can irritate us so much!
Please keep us up to date on your entire process.
