How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

72 hours post Cellfina Sunday
Day of the procure Thursday 5/4
I’m not gonna lie, the numbing prior to the procedure HURT! The needle that is used is much thicker than a standard syringe.
During the actual Cellfina procedure some of the spots treated had a pain level of 1-3, and others were like a 9-10! I think some of the spots were not fully numb and the doctor had to wait about 15 extra minutes to give it more time.
At the end, the nurses tapped pads on my legs, covered those in underpads (these are the same as the pee pee pads I buy for my dogs), and put a compression garment on me. I only have minimal discomfort on my drive home (several hours). I was completely soaked with blood and the numbing fluid that seeps out by the time I got home. (Make sure that you have an extra compression garment, pads, underpads and tape at home.) I didn’t know that I needed this and I didn’t have extra supplies. My hubby helped me wrap and tape my son’s baby diapers around my legs which worked like a charm! I also had a pair of spanks which allowed me to wash the others out. I really needed help from someone else during this period.
Hours 12-48 Friday and Saturday
All the reviews I read about people returning to work the next day are crazy, unless they only had a few areas treated. It is painful to sit or lay down. Pulling down the compression garment and sitting on the toilet kills! My skin just hurts to touch! My procedure of done on Thursday, today is Saturday and I worry about returning to work on Monday! The oozing finally stopped at 48 hours.
I forgot to mention that I have been taking Arnica and Bromelain for about 10 days or so, beginning before the procedure. I don’t think it helped with the bruising but I do think it helps with the pain. I have also taken some Tylenol. Two weeks prior, I also used PREVedem Bruise Minimizing Serum given to me by the surgeon’s office. I don’t think this worked either, but I do bruise easily.

Here are my pics. Pretty scary and painful bruising! I’m not sure if I can see any results yet. I know I still have a lot of swelling. The pain is the tiniest bit better, but I switched to ibuprofen today so IDK if that made a difference. The thought of having to sit at work tomorrow is a nightmare. I gave up wearing the compression garment. It’s just too painful to pull up and down.

I decided to post my cellulite banishing journey...
I decided to post my cellulite banishing journey because there are not a lot of websites that give honest and forthright information. So here goes..
I’m 39 years old, 5’4, and weigh 120 pounds. I’ve been the same weigh since age 16, with the exception of my 4 pregnancies.
My cellulite started at age 14 and peaked at age 16. It has remained unchanged for all these years despite always being athletic and having a pretty typical diet. Nothing I have ever tried could get rid of the cellulite. After doing some research I booked a consultation with a plastic surgeon in Raleigh, NC. The most difficult thing so far has been the cost. My cellulite is considered Level III and the procedure is expected to cost $5,500. However, the plastic surgery center is running a 20% discount, so that helps. My procedure is scheduled for Thursday. Fingers crossed that Cellfina can cure gross!
