My Radiesse experience - fillers do not agree with me

I went to visit Dr Falguni for a free Consult on a few things and I must say WOW!!! Never have I felt so comfortable and relaxed around anyone before. She is honest and doesn’t try to sell you on anything you don’t need, She is so nice and doesn’t rush you out the door which is a big plus for me being I have been to other consults and felt like I wasn’t being heard and rushed, The fact that she is very knowledgeable in what you may or may not need is great. I can’t wait to get my procedures done with her. I won’t be wasting any money on any other Dr’s like I’ve done In the past. She will be my go to Dr. from now on. The office is very clean, the staff is great and you feel welcomed the minute you walk through that door. I will update once I get procedures done.

I’m not here to bash the Dr. because even the most skilled Dr can make a mistake. No one is perfect!! I don’t know what happened but my Radiesse didn’t go as expected... I should’ve never got it dove in the first place it definitely is a huge regret. Not only did I leave her office looking like a chipmunk she hit an artery or nerve on my left cheek. Left a huge bump and it bleed and bruised really bad. I specifically told her I just wanted a small cheek lift and didn’t want to be cheeky but that wasn’t the case. She assured me that the swelling and bruising would go down that by Thursday it should be ok here I am the day after the injection and my face feels weird and the bump on my cheek is hard. I will never get any fillers in my face. Again Lesson learned I just pray to God this [RS bleep] goes away and my face goes back to normal I will update a few weeks later with pictures. The Dr. did tell me she wanted to see me on Friday so let’s see what happens by Friday I will be in her office first thing Friday morning I’m hoping and praying it’ goes down by then & wasn’t left with any damage. I will update soon on final result....

I went and got my Radiesse injected yesterday 3/19 and I must admit it was a huge mistake on my part. All I wanted was a little lift on my cheeks because I felt like I needed just a little. I was never a cheeky person nor did I want to be because I don’t like that look on myself, I made sure I explained that to the Dr that all I wanted was a little. So she decided I needed one full syringe on each side after injecting just half on my right cheek first, it looked ok after the first right cheek injection, now when she did my left side I felt a little pain come to find out she said she thinks she hit a small vein or artery because it was bleeding allot and it swelled up so fast, I started to cry because I was like wow what did I just do to my face? She assured me it was ok that it has happened before And that the swelling would go down by Thursday (praying it does) before she left the room she said she wanted me to go back on Friday morning so she can check on it, I will definitely be going... Ok so now I left the office and my face was super swollen on both sides ???? I had to be back at work so I was a little embarrassed. I had my hair up in a pony tail so I couldn’t hide the bruise or swelling????. I leave work around 4:30 and go straight to cvs and buy Arnica for bruising and swelling. I go home look in the mirror and just broke down crying regretting my decision although I still have faith in what Dr. Falguni told me. I couldn’t sleep at all my cheeks felt tight and hurt allot. Iced it awhile and put Arnica like advised. When I woke up for work Wednesday today 3/20 I saw swelling was a little bit less thank God!! Bruising was worse but I know it has to look worse before it gets better!!! I don’t blame the Dr because I believe even the best skilled Dr. can make a mistake no such thing as perfect in my book. But I do blame myself for even getting it done in the first place after my first filler gone wrong with juvederm and Voluma XC. I guess my face just rejects these fillers doesn’t want it in there. ???????????One thing I will say is that I WILL NEVER EVER GET FILLERS ON MY FACE AGAIN!!! Fillers are not for everyone and this is definitely my last lesson learned no more!!! Botox yes because thank god I’ve never had an issue with it. It helped with my migraines and it stopped my hair from falling out yes it did!!! There is no need to bash the Dr. or talk bad about her because she is nice, compassionate and I’m sure good at was she does, and she wasn’t in a rush to get me out of the office after the procedure. I will sill go to her again just not for fillers on my face... Fillers do not agree with me???????????you will see pics of right after procedure and 24hrs after I will post more as the days and weeks go by.
