5 year update

I must say after having my implants for 5 years now I am disappointed I picked the doctor I did. By the end of year 1 the breast I had to have the second surgery on had slipped out of pocket. Dr Samaha stated he would correct it but only with a full fee stating those things just happen. It can be uncomfortable at times and I have just been dealing with it. At this point I will be going to another doctor to try and correct it and have them rebuild the pocket because it is becoming more noticeable. Now knowing what I do, the fact he recommended I wait for surgery on that breast that had the bleeding and see if it would reabsorb is just a horrible. I was the one that opted for the surgery since I couldn’t stand the pain anymore. By waiting, damage could have been severe to my breast. Just want to make sure people research every possibility and review before choosing a doctor. Don’t let a fancy office and nice staff fool you!

Starting to finally like them a little more

I am 6 weeks post op on my right and 4 weeks post op on my left. I am not going to lie...there were several times I did regret doing this just because the results have not been exactly what I wanted so far. I have second guessed size and type daily. I know everyone says to be patient but easier said than done! I am finally starting to like how they look though I do wish I would have gone to 425 and 400 like we first originally discussed. I was so worried about being too big but I think it would have made them a little more perky. The have really begun to fall and I can feel it a lot more in my smaller side with the stretching. Luckily this means lefty is finally catching up! Hoping they continue to surprise me.

10 days post op 2nd hematoma surgery

So I ended up having to go back into the OR exactly 14 days after my initial surgery to drain my hematoma. It was worse than expect and my breast pocket had been effected so they ended up having to remove the implant and clean everything out and then place a new one back in. Only 2% of all breast implant surgeries have this issue and of course I was one of those lucky ones :) Even just one day post op of the 2nd surgery (day 15 total) the pressure was so much better. I am now 10 days post op my 2nd surgery (24 total) and my hematoma breast if finally starting to fall and feel more comfortable like my other. Unfortunately this basically did a reset on everything so there is still no running or exercising so that part of it is driving me crazy. My glue has also come off on my nipple and my 1st breast and I am happy with those results so far

I absolutely love Dr Samaha. He did exactly what I wanted and has an amazing bedside manner. I will definitely go back to this practice for any other procedures in the future. The nurses (Deb and Maureen) are also both amazing and very informative
