Ptosis/Double Eyelid Surgery, & Epicanthoplasty Journey!

Day 3

I'm trying to take these pics around the same time each day since swelling seems to change significantly as the day goes by. This is another pic after I woke up. Again, everything is pretty smooth. I've been drinking a ton of corn tea to help with swelling.
Oddly, I'm not TOO worried about the asymmetry of my eyes. I already had some asymmetry in my eyes so I don't mind there being a little asymmetry in my eyes after the results are out. It'll keep me more natural looking, I think, than perfect symmetry.

Day 2

I flew back home the next day, on day 2. Wore a pair of sunglasses, slept through the whole flight, and everything was just really smooth! :)

I was prescribed antibiotics and am taking two Motrin pills 2-3 times a day as a painkiller.

Day 1

(Okay, so I know I'm not exactly updating it on day 1, but bare with me.)

I had the surgery in the afternoon and the surgery itself hurt in some parts. It didn't hurt a lot, I'd do it again, but it wasn't exactly pain-free as I expected and heard. Then again, I also was a difficult case. I had thick skin, extra eyelid fat, and severe ptosis.

Surgery actually lasted for about two and a half hours, almost three. BUT post-op, I actually didn't have any pain. It was pretty great! I wore glasses, took an Uber to the hotel I was at, had a sandwich. Pain crept in when I took my pain meds an hour after surgery, but it went away quickly as I fell asleep. All good!
