Ptosis Correction + Double Eyelid Surgery + Epicanthoplasty Review
$1,400
My main concern was ptosis in both eyes, especially my right eye. Doctor JunHyung Kim recommended double eye lid surgery along with a ptosis correction and epicanthoplasty to help balance my eyes. I was initially worried that the inner flesh of my eyes might become too visible with a epicanthoplasty, but the doctor reassured me that only 2mm would be adjusted.
I originally came in for a consultation and was able to get the surgery done that same day. After surgery, I was initially shocked by how much wider the double eyelid crease on my right eye looked and worried that it would stay uneven forever. However, as the swelling gradually went down, it started looking more natural. I also had very minimal bruising and I think placing the ice packs over my eyes all day really helped. After getting my stitches removed a week later, I only had some redness and slight bumpiness around the inner corners where the stitches were.
I’m still waiting to see how my eye asymmetry improves as the swelling continues to go down.
