These are my before and after photos of my double eyelid surgery. I’m very satisfied with the results. If you have a preferred double eyelid style, you can show it to the doctor. The doctor will also use a toothpick to design different eyelid shapes on the spot for you to reference. The surgery took about 2 hours. The English translator, Hee, was gentle and beautiful, and she accompanied me throughout the process. The procedure was performed by Dr. Kim Jun Hyung. It was painless and quick, and after just 30 minutes of icing post-surgery, I already had beautiful eyes ????
Hi fam. I got a non-incisional double eyelid surgery at Marble in Seoul mid April 2025. I am now one month post-op and wanted to share my experience. This was actually my 2nd surgery as I previously received one in the US back in 2023. At the US clinic, I was not given an option to decide how the shape of the eyelid would look. The surgeon told me based on my eyes I could only do a very small crease, which I was fine with at the time. Looking back, it was pretty immediately apparent that he didn’t do a great job. The two creases were visibly different, at least to me, but I was happy to finally be able to get this surgery done. After about 1 year or so, I would wake up with differently shaped eyelids on a daily basis. I wasn’t sure what was going on, but I grew less satisfied with the results over time. In early April, I scheduled a consultation at Marble. I first connected with the team via KaKao Talk about 2 weeks prior to going to Seoul. The person I spoke to via KaKao was also the translator I met at the clinic, so this continuity was really great to have. During the consultation, the surgeon reviewed my eyes and I learned something really interesting about why my eye shape kept changing. Apparently the old line embedded in my eye had loosened, so my eye was reverting back to its original shape. I remember the US surgeon, who was trained in Korea, told me he was doing a 3 point surgery. The Marble surgeon, Dr. Kim Jun Hyung, told me nowadays the standard is 5-6 points, which should last much longer (hopefully forever). I was also given the option to do an incisional surgery, which would last forever, but as I was going to Japan after I wouldn't have an easy way to get the stitches removed. The surgeon used little toothpicks to show me different options for eyelid shapes, which was something I didn’t have the luxury to pick the first time around. He also told me that they would try to take out the old line during my new surgery. I had a few other consultations planned, but because I vibed quite well with the Marble team I decided to cancel the consultation and go with Marble. On the day of the surgery, you are asked not to eat/drink for at least 4 hours prior to surgery, which was totally fine for me. They take you into a little changing room where you’ll get changed into surgical robes with lockers for your stuff. I also met with the surgeon one more time to decide on the final shape, which they drew out with a pen on my eyelid. Soon I was taken to the surgery room. It was a little scary at first as there are restraints to make sure you don’t move excessively during the surgery, but once the anesthesia hit, time went by really fast. The whole process took about 45 min but as the person in the chair it doesn’t feel that long. Afterwards you are taken into a dark room with comfortable chairs. I also got an ice pack to put on my eyes to reduce swelling. Once the surgery ended, I was pretty much immediately able to move around and get back to exploring Seoul. Of course my eyes were puffy and red but in Gangnam it really isn’t uncommon at all for people who just got plastic surgery to be walking around. If you can bring a friend for emotional support that would be best, but even alone it shouldn’t be a big deal! I rested a little bit earlier than the rest of my travel days but other than that the surgery did not hinder any of my travel plans. During the first few days, I was asked to use the ice pack to reduce swelling. During this time as the swelling gradually decreased I did form bruising in my eyelids, which went through the usual colors of purple -> red -> yellow. These went away around the 1 week mark. I’ve posted some photos below with key time points up till today. Finally as a wrap up, I will say that for the first week or so post-op, sometimes in the morning, the shape of one eyelid was higher than the other. I think this was just morning puffiness because they looked more even by the afternoon. Also there is one needle point that is slightly visible when I close my eyes. Maybe it will go away over time? None of these are deal-breakers for me. I’m so happy to have even and pretty (to me) eyes again.
First and foremost, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Dr. Kim and all the staff members— from the nurses to the friendly consultant— for ensuring such a smooth and seamless process. From the initial online consultation to the in-person visit and the final scheduling of my surgery, everything was handled professionally and efficiently. I had an incredible experience at Marble Plastic Surgery Clinic! I underwent rhinoplasty with donated rib cartilage due to the shape of my nose. I could not be happier with the results—they look natural and exactly how I envisioned. The staff was exceptionally kind, thorough, and professional, and the clinic itself is impeccably clean and modern. I was also fortunate to receive a generous promotional discount, which made the entire experience even more rewarding. For those who are wondering the price for an Augmentation Rhinoplasty + tip plasy was 4.9 million won The donated rib cartilage was 1.1million won In total I spent 6.845 million won including the non-incisional double eye lid surgery & ptosis correction.
Hi everyone! I had my revision rhinoplasty and revision chin implant at marble plastic surgery and I would like my share my experience with them. I went to several different clinics ranging from big factory clinics to smaller ones and I decided to go with marble because my Korean friend referred me to this place and I liked their results on GU. My surgeon was Dr. Kim Jun hyung and he did both procedures. During my consultation with marble, I think because it’s their peak season but it was very crowded and I waited about an hour to get my consultation with the doctor but it was worth waiting and I understood why it took so long because he took his time explaining everything one by one and making sure that I had all the info that I needed. And with big crowd comes with tough time booking for the surgery slot. I didn’t get the exact date that I wanted but we worked around the dates and had one spot left. Yes I did gamble my chances for the surgery slot but I went for other consultations after that and when I came back to book, they luckily still had the slot. To tell you a bit of my issue with my nose, it was short and too upturned while my chin was so big I looked like I had double chin and masculine too, which I did not like at all. I was crossing my fingers hoping it would be addressed. On the day of the surgery, I got to see Dr. Kim one more time and the consultant made sure that I bring a lot of photos of the nose that I want from the side view so that Dr. Kim and I were on the same page. For the chin, he would match it accordingly so I have a more balanced face overall. I knocked right out the moment I went into the operating room and next thing you know, I woke up with a new nose and a new chin. I’m two weeks post-op now and got all my stitches out and I can see that the swelling is going down day by day. I know it’s still early but so far, I do really like my results especially how dramatic the changes were from my previous nose to the nose I have now. I do still feel numb around my mouth especially my chin and I still have some swelling on my cheeks too but very minimal bruising. I would recommend them for 1. The surgeon’s skills, 2. The consultant who made everything so smooth for me
I went to marble plastic surgery about a month ago and had my rhinoplasty done by Dr.Kim. He was very careful with every little thing and took his time to examine my nose before and after the surgery. I really appreciated the time he took to understand my request and telling me whats realistic and unrealistic. To top it off, the English consultant was really helpful with translating and really took care of me during the entire experience. Really recommend going there to at least get your rhinoplasty consultation with Dr.Kim.
Dr. Kim really does have an eye for beauty. I went to Marble Plastic surgery a little over a month ago and am so glad I did. Dr. Kim really took his time his explaining everything to me during the consultation and also checked up on me after surgery multiple times. Highly recommend this clinic if you’re ever thinking of traveling abroad for surgery. Updated on 21 May 2024: It’s finally been two months post op my rhinoplasty from marble PS. Although the two months feel a lot longer I’m loving how my nose is looking more and more everyday. It’s settled in so much more. Applying makeup and skincare is much more natural now. I’m able to apply makeup and skincare almost like I would before surgery. I started using scar cream a few weeks ago and it’s helped with the open rhino scar significantly. It’s fading quite nicely. Overall, I’m super happy with my results. Updated on 29 Jun 2024: I am now 3 months and 5 days out from post rhinoplasty from Marble plastic surgery. My nose is now settling quite nicely. The swelling is at the minimal and it looks very natural. In the beginning It was much higher and pointier, now it’s more subtle and natural which I’m glad because I think It suites my face a lot more. Dr. Kim definitely knows what he’s doing and I have zero regrets going to Marble for my rhino.
I'm sharing my surgery experience! I wasnt interested in rhinoplasty before but I noticed when I'm on instagram I'm only looking at people's noses. I tried nose fillers done but I ended up deciding getting a rhino. As you can see from my before photo, my nose is wide and the tip of my nose is fat, I also had bump on my nose. I saw marble's reviews and had online consultation with them and got recommended dr kim. I was worried because I couldnt find any reviews of him but I liked his consultation, like he explained the parts I never thought of before. I'm sharing my review for you guys XD I went for the consultation in late afternoon and there were around 2~3 people waiting, the translator greeted me and told me to fill in the chart, she then took me to get my pictures taken. After that I discussed with the consultant about the nose I wanted and waited for the doctor. Dr. Kim checked my nose and we saw my pictures, he explained that my nose is wide so he needed to push the nasal bone in to the get the slimmer nose I want, and I didnt notice the bump on my nose was bad until I saw the pictures they took. Dr. Kim said he will shave the hump and then put silicone and mentioned that he will be using my septum and ear cartilage together. Laying down on the surgery bed hearing the sound of the machine was the most anxious part. The surgery itself wasnt as exhausting as I thought it would be though. I was expecting brutal bruising and and swelling but it wasnt as bad. On thing I worried at first was the sleeping position. After rhino you are not supposed to sleep on your side but I'm a side sleeper, so I was bothered that I might sleep to my side out of habit, this doesnt really bother me anymore though. I was happy with the shape of my nose after seeing it for the first time on the day I got my cast removed. I worried what if my nostril was showing too much, but my nose came out just how I liked it. I was happy to see my nose has definition, it was very high from the side profile, but I wasnt concerned because I was only on my first week. My tip was bigger than what I had imagined, but I thought it because of the swelling, and noticed it became smaller after around 3 weeks. I'm only around 1 month post op, I'm still trying to not yawn and still adjusting to the new height of my nose. Everything was okay until I saw something in my nose and it was thread? so I contacted the clinic and they told me it was the absorbable kind but they told me they would remove it so I went to the clinic got it removed. Dr. kim told me my nose is still firm and it will become more flexible as I recover and the swelling will recede more. I cant wait for my nose to get even more natural!
