I am about a month out from a male breast reduction for gynecomastia, which required free nipple grafts. To lead with what is most pertinent here: The results are fantastic. I had dealt with excess breast tissue from about age 12-13, and over the years I had gained and lost weight to the point that I had excess skin and breast tissue. Being 33 years old now, Dr Z was very keen to the fact that my skin elasticity is not what it was when I was 18 and recommended excision of breast tissue, excess skin and fat, and then a free nipple graft. After surgery I have a normal male chest and the scarring at only a month out is nearly non-exist. Frankly I am amazed by this. In terms of the overall experience, Dr Z and his team have been top notch. Excellent communication all throughout the process, and they were completely accessible for (and patient with) my neurotic questions that I've had during my recovery. Dr Z and team have also been some of the most professional, caring, and helpful people with whom I've ever had the pleasuring of being treated by in the medical field. It was apparent to me early on that Dr Z was the right surgeon to do this procedure. This was confirmed to me through results, but it is evident that Dr Z and his team are clearly excited about my excellent results and are passionate about what they do.
