Still no proffesionalism from dr z

$525
Dr z has contacted me via email and still refused to call me directly or give me a refund. This is absolutely unacceptable behavior for a doctor. I paid a dermatologist 400 to dissolve te juvederm from my lips and dr z won't even refund me the price I paid him for the injection. I asked him to inject me with only .4 of juvederm and he injected me a whole syringe because according to him "it's not enough" I told him during the procedure I didn't want more than that and he continued, then also charged me for the whole shrine which wasn't my choice. This is a complete nightmare. I would hope a doctor would be responsible for his actions and refund for doing what he wasn't asked to do to someone . Although he emailed me and said he'd give me a free .4 of juvederm!!!! Seriously? Does he think I would allow him to touch my face or any part of my body ever again? Or that I would even want more filler in my face when I initially only wanted such a small amount now I would have 1.4 syringes? Is he delusional?

I showed Dr Z photos of what I wanted for my lip...

I showed Dr Z photos of what I wanted for my lip injections. He looked at the photos and said "I don't like that look , trust me" then did my injections according to what he liked. I wasn't satisfied with the outcome (I asked for the juvederm to be injected through the middle of my lips, he put so much in the sides that I now look like I have a sad frown face and fat top lip also the corners of my lips are so fat that they get caught on my teeth which can be uncomfortable when I'm trying to eat) and he wouldn't fix it, his receptionist Made an appointment for me so he could discuss and resolve the problems and I called out of work for the day, only to find out hours later That dr z refused to see me to fix the problems with the injections. He hides behind his front desk receptionists and refuses to contact his patients directly. Also during getting my lips injected I was told that I could receive a .4 of juvederm, which is all I wanted in the middle of my top lip. Halfway through the procedure he told me that he was using a whole syringe (1cc) in my mouth, which was not what I had asked for. He also injected in my forehead, which wasn't discussed, he just assumed I'd want to get rid of a scar ( which I'd never seen as an issue or even mentioned to him) had he at least discussed fixing the issues at hand I would feel more comfortable about what I'm dealing with, but I have huge flaps on the corners of my top lips which make me look like I'm frowning all day. I'm so upset and dissapointed that if he didn't like the way I wanted my lips done he should tell me that he wouldn't do them that way. Instead of giving me the lips that he likes. After all it is my money and my face. I should've known to walk out when I saw all the women who work in his office had duck lips, although he said that's what they Asked for their specific way to be done. I assumed he did it according to what they wanted, now I have to have my lips look like I got punched in the mouth for at least 6 monthS because dr z won't fix them. Also I will add that I have had 3 previous plastic surgery procedures (not with dr z) and not a single complaint. With my breast lift and implants I didn't even return to the office for my follow ups because I was completely satisfied with my results and talking to the dr about my concerns. Dr z will take your money and pass all your questions on to his staff (who are obviously not doctors a And not qualified to answer because they are just patients and employees) and not contact you himself, which is extremely unprofessional. But I guess when you're working in a city like providence you don't have to really follow through correctly? I'm not sure how that works because I live in boston where doctors are extremely professional and own up to their responsibilities. I have many friends and colleagues who get injections and plastic surgery who I have recommended to my previous doctors but I would never recommend or suggest someone to go to this office for fear that they would be dissapojntsd and not be dealt with In a professional manor. I have many events in the public eye and I'm very embarrassed that I have to pay another doctor to fix the issues that this doctor will not even address or suggest that he will try to fix. IF YPUR GONNA GO RO DR Z BE CAREFUL AND MAKE SURE HE GIVES YOH WHAT YOJ ASK FOR AND NOT WHAT HE WANTS. or you will be regretful and self conscious about your appearance like me, and noone to resolve your problems. Z doesn't care .

I'm sorry you didn't get the results you wanted.  Thanks for sharing on RealSelf.  Will you post some pics of your lips so we can see what you are talking about?

Well if he said that he didn't like the look in the beginning and you wanted the look in the picture than why the hell did you do it ... Your the dummy
Thank you for your positive feedback Rebecca, I did it for the same reason you listened to your doctor on your first implants, naive and you listened, assuming your doctor knew better correct? And you ended up with 2 balls in some socks. So pot, don't call the kettle black, I'm far from a dummy. This is a website for people to post their real opinions and problems. Your experience maybe was different then mine at Dr Z but that's your opinion. Also "YOU'RE the dummy" is the grammatically correct way to spell it. Kinda ironic you call someone a dummy and in the same sentence make yourself sound like one! Owned .... Happy healing!
That's awful that your Dr. wouldn't talk to you after your procedure. So sorry.
