Although Dr. Talei had an assistant in the room, he performed Profound on my face and neck himself. He injected my skin with numbing solution, comparing it to what dentists use. Best description ever, as I was totally numb and didn’t feel a thing. I was also given a Valium and was very relaxed.
I was warned that I would swell, and could have bruising for 3-5 days. The first day I was extremely swollen. There were dark purple marks where the machine touched my skin. I was very excited about how many marks I saw as I knew the result from such coverage was going to be outstanding.
By the 2nd day my skin was a slight pink color and I was only a tiny bit puffy. By the 3rd day I was back to normal. I never did bruise.
As soon as I hit the 3-month mark, all at once everyone started commenting on how great I looked. My pharmacist and my dentist (both woman) told me I looked different and asked me what I had done. I am always very open about my treatments and where I receive them.
My skin texture has clearly improved and there is quite a bit of tightening especially around the nasal folds and jowls. I have just hit the 7-month mark and also notice my skin is thicker than what it was. This gives a very youthful quality.
I am very excited to find out what 8-months will bring as I was told I will see even more dramatic results. I believe final result can take up to 1-year.
