I got profhilo treatment done in April 2023. I had fillers dissolved back in 2019 in my under eyes and never had filler injected after that and thought as I approach 40 better get skin boosters. A certified doctor injected me with profhilio hoping to get a glow and fix the dents after dissolving my under eyes fillers three years ago . As it did boost my face became round and my jowls ( which were tight with perfect shape ) became saggy ! Exactly were she injected the needle in the jowl area it became puffy . I didn’t go for another treatment and it has been four months now and still puffy jowls. Sadly the under eye dents form dissolver is still there and now I have saggy jowls. Please be aware this is not as innocent as they say and it may last much longer than told .

I guess I will give it time and if not gone by three months maybe dissolve it . Though very scared of dissolver

I am 4 months about , I still have puffy jowls . I went yesterday for a facial ultrasound and found out it is still stuck in my jowls

Hi I’ve the same problem with my jowls. What did they say is stuck in jowls? Fluid? Did they offer explanation?

The doctor found the Hyaluronic acid stuck in my jowls which was attracting huge amounts of water causing the sagging

Not sure if I’ve found a cure but I’ve taken 2 rounds of antihistamine for five days each spaced few weeks apart and 1% steroid cream and it’s seems to have taken swelling down considerably plus careful lymphatic drainage
