Dr. Sandy Pritchard is a very unprofessional doctor. He completed a Rhinoplasty for me two years ago which left my nose curved with a residual bump and two different profiles depending on which side of my nose you are looking at. I complained that I could not breath properly and that I was not completely satisfied with the surgery he had performed. He assured me for a year that he would complete a revision surgery if I was unhappy after it fully healed. A year and a half went by and he booked me in for a revision surgery as he promised. I requested to meet him before the surgery as I wanted to go over exactly what I was unhappy about. His assistant prepped everything for the surgery, paper work, surgery time and date etc. but could not find anytime for me to have a pre-surgery consultation until 24 hours before the surgery was supposed to take place. I was supposed to go in for surgery on a Friday at 9am and he was not able to meet me until 11 AM or so the Thursday before. During the consultation I explained what I wanted done, at this point he explained to me for "reasons that were not financial" (he must of mentioned it two or three times), he was not going to perform the surgery. He stated that another plastic surgeon he knows would be better able to meet my needs, especially if I was having trouble breathing. At this point, less than 24 hours before my surgery , I was obviously quite confused and upset with the handling of the entire situation. One must ask themselves, what kind of doctor cancels a surgery mere hours before an operation is supposed to take place. The weeks leading up to a surgery are quite nerve-wracking, and just like that the doctor informs you the day before the surgery that he is not going to do it. I think he should have learned in his schooling to inform his patients well before the surgery date if he was not going to perform an operation. The office apparently sent a referral to the other doctor, surprise surprise I never heard back from any other Dr. From the bottom of my heart, do not use Sandy Pritchard for any surgery for which you expect proper follow up care. He handled my entire situation poorly and unprofessionally and if it can be a learning experience for someone else, its worth my time to post this review.
