WORTH IT
After several weeks of loosing sleep due to a whistling sound in my nose, I was diagnosed with a perforated septum the size of a pencil eraser (cause unknown) while living in Skagway, Alaska. I saw an ENT surgeon in Juneau who said the surgery was too complicated for him, and that he didn't believe there was a single surgeon in Alaska who could do the procedure properly. I learned all of the 3 weeks before I was to be kicked off of my parent's health insurance plan, so I needed the surgery done immediately.
Dr. Undavia was recommended by the insurance company as the one of the best surgeons in the country for the job, and when I called him in a state of panic he made space in his schedule to see me immedately. I flew from Juneau to New Jersey the next day and was in his office that same afternoon, where he explained to me what was happening with my nose and what we would need to do to fix it. He and his staff were amazing at helping me schedule the surgery in time to have it covered by my insurance. He also agreed to let me do my final post-op follow up to remove the splints and stitches with the original ENT in Juneau so that I could return to work as soon as possible. When that doctor saw the work Dr. Undavia had done he was extremely impressed, and said that I could not have asked for a better result. Dr. Undavia also invited me to come in for a follow-up (free of charge since I then had no insurance) when I returned to NJ to visit family 3 months later.
It has been two years since my procedure and my nose is better than new, and the small scar between my nostrils has faded until it is nearly invisible. I couldn't be happier.

That's a long trip between Alaska and New Jersey! So glad it worked out and that you are happy with your results.
