I have wanted to have my nose done since I was a teenager. After researching plastic surgeons I came across Mr Uppal. During my first consultation with Mr Uppal I came away thinking this man knows exactly what he's doing, his calm confident manner and explanation of the procedure made my decision easy.
I am absolutely thrilled with the outcome, only 7 weeks after the operation I have so much more confidence when meeting people. I wish I had this done years ago.

Yes, wow! Also, 7 weeks is VERY early in the recovery, my nose is continuing to get smaller and straighter and I am 13 months post op! You're a handsome guy.

Just out of curiosity / interest, did you have it done by open or closed procedure, your tip looks higher than before, so I will guess open? What you said about lumps / bumps and massaging them, my nose has gone through lots of little changes where there have been irregularities, lumps appearing but then resolving, it's a little stressful; I found the hardest bit of this whole experience not the recovery after or handing over all that cash (!) but the weird changes and wondering if they will resolve, or if I have a problem on my hands that is going to need another operation. But by about 8 months post-op, I was thrilled, and now I'm starting to really like my nose. Like you say, when meeting people for the first time I no longer have a dialogue running through my head wondering if they're judging my nose. It take a bit of adjustment but feels so good! If you are happy with your nose now, when the swelling resolves it will be even straighter and smaller, like the gift that keeps on giving! My nose was my worst feature and is now one of my best. Same as you, my regret also is not doing it sooner, but better late than never!! :D

I had closed surgery, and totally agree that the lumps and bumps are concerning but glad to hear it all gets better after time. Thanks for the reassurance. Everyone has insecurities about their appearance and it's so good not to have that dialogue in my head about a big nose when meeting people.

Gosh - impressive result from closed! I'd never heard of your Dr before but that's amazing.

Just to expand more as requested by Danielle.
It took a long time for me to decide to go ahead with the surgery. I had always wanted it for myself as I always felt whenever I met new people the first thing in their mind was ' Look at the size of his nose' sounds shallow but I was married for 20 years suddenly finding my self single I decided to finally get it done.
Choosing the surgeon was a lot of research, I had read online about how you can get it cheap abroad but also many horror stories. I thought I'm going for some serious surgery and the person doing it had to be the best I could find.
It was n't cheap but I'm a true believer in you get what you pay for. Mr Uppal had an outstanding reputation and was also a member of BAPRAS and other professional bodies which I think is very important.
As I'm still very early in my recovery stage everything seems to be going well, I did develop a small lump on the side and after sending photos which Mr Uppal responded immediately on how to massage it daily for a month, It's now reducing.
I had a one week post op appointment to remove the cast and then another 6 week appointment for a progress check. Your surgeon should be available for any question you may have pre and post op as there will be many.
If anyone wants to ask me any questions please feel free.

Hi there
Your results look fantastic, so natural. Its not an easy decision to make. Have you told many people and have people noticed or commented?
I hope your recovery is going smoothly and again your results look great.

Thank you, I've told close friends and family most people didn't notice until show them the before and after photo. I'll never have or want a button nose as my surgeon made it suit my face, still can't believe that I have a 'normal' nose. Thanks again for your kind words
