WORTH IT
It’s my one year anniversary getting a primary Asian rhinoplasty and I can not recommend Dr. Ümit taskin enough!!! I love my results. I did so much research and looked through pages of Insta doctors and I’m so happy I went with him. I was in between 2-3 doctors but I went with Taskin. He was the most wxpensive of them all but he’s skilled and experienced so I trusted him.
The consult was quick but his team and assistants are always ready to help.
I went alone and I asked to get the contact info of other girls who were going alone and I ended up meeting up with the two other girls getting their noses done the same day and I had a companion through it all. One girl even booked the same hotel as me so we could help each other.
One thing I wish they did was packages. “Surgery + hotel + transportation”. I was I between Clinichub and Taskin because they made it soooo stress free but all the hassle of booking transportation (Uber works) and hotel was fairly easy.
I also got Buccal fat removal which was great too. Why not? We’re under anesthesia anyway haha
So you will need to get blood work and meet the anesthesia doctor at the hospital the day before (I had to get a covid test too). Then you need dr. Taskin at his office for a consult, pictures and to pay the money. Then the same evening, he sends pictures of your nose photoshopped and you choose which nose you want and send it to him. Then the next day it’s surgery day!
As for recovery, I have a had pain tolerance but I was fine right after! I was happy and even dancing in my bed. The other girls were miserable though. But the next couple days were bad with my ribs. It was so hard getting up from the bed. You need to sleep sitting up to avoid straining your ribs. I think the most painful part is the rib healing and the drying of the stitches also cutting the stitches after a month if they don’t dissolve.
Anyways, don’t look any further! Go with Taskin!! Save up and go with the best doctor and get the peace of mind of not being botched.
