So I've finally gotten around to booking my rhinoplasty in Prague. I've booked With DR Josef Kulhánek.
I got really nervous once I paid my deposit, it felt so real!
I like the front view of my face, but really hate the profile. I would like a curve in my bridge, and hate the way the tip droops down.
I've included some photos, Including a before and after photo of what I'd hope my end result will be like. My friends all think I shouldn't get it done, do you think it would benefit me?
I would love to speak to other people that have had it done, or that are having it done.
I am curious if anyone has ever travelled for rhinoplasty, what did you do to keep entertained(Particularly if you went to Prague), and were you nervous about going out with your cast?
Did your friends and family notice you had it done?

I am getting my surgery tomorrow. Feeling really weird at the moment. I guess I am kind of excited but am feeling a little depressed for some reason, I never get depressed either so it's strange. I went out last night which was probably a bit of a mistake... I think the mixture of excitement and worry has driven me a little mad at this stage, Plus it's a bit weird being in a foreign country like this and I have not found the people in the Czech republic to be very nice so far. I really just want it to be done at this sage
I am going to post a couple last before photos here and will update regularly from there.
When should I start taking arnica and if anyone has any pre-op tips that'd be great!
Thanks guys :)

Arnica is very good, I took Arnica granules 2 weeks before surgery and 2-3 weeks after. I tkink your nose looks good...I see no flaws...but you know better what is your target: curved bridge and refined up-looking tip. So, good luck tomorrow ! Have the nose of your dreams! Would of been nice to stay for 8 days at least in Prague (you'll better go home after the splint is off) ...take care of you and think positive about Czech Republic. I've been there and nothing wrong has happened:))

Don't get down about the people in Czech. I'm full Czech, they are just blunt and kind of rude to tourist but I wouldn't let it get to you. Just make sure you are very detailed with your surgeon about exactly what it is that you want. Good luck! I'm sure you'll be fine.

Thanks for starting your story here on RealSelf! I know this time can be exciting and nerve-wracking. I don't think I would look at you and think "He could really use a nose job", but I understand how it feels to think your nose is flawed. I felt the same way. Do be careful of a scoop as it can feminize the face somewhat (depending on your other features, of course). Ask your surgeon what he thinks of this. Good luck and keep us posted!
P.S. Here are some pre- and post-op tips for you!
