Late review but so happy! Now 2 wk 4 days post.

Hi girls, so sorry it's taken so long to update!

But it's all done and I am 2 weeks and 4 days post op! So the calmness I had the night before wore off very quickly when I got to the clinic ha! I then became very emotional very quickly, this is a big thing and having it done abroad was very scary but the best decision I've ever made!

The team at beauty in Prague were amazing from the driver who took me to and from the clinic, to the nurses and staff to of course dr Skala. Upon arrival to the clinic I completed consent forms and had bloods taken, I then saw dr Skala and discussed exactly what I wanted and what was achievable based upon what he was working with. I had pictures to show him and he was very honest with what to expect because of my quite bad tuberous breasts and I think because what he had said wasn't what I was hoping for was why I became so emotional. We agreed on 390cc in both breast with a mammory incision, under the muscle. I then went to see the GP to have all my pre op to ensure I was healthy enough to have the op, they then took me for an ultra sound of my breasts to ensure there were no underlying problems. Everything was given the all clear around 11am and off to surgery I went.

Saying bye to my boyfriend was so hard as I was so scared but he reassure me and I went with one of the lovely team to the operating suite. This couldn't be faulted they are so strict with cleanliness, when you go in you go into a room to leave your belongings in lockers and change into gowns and crocs (sexy, especially those paper knickers hey girls!). I then was taken into a recovery room to leave the bits I wanted for post op like my phone and charger and a book. Luckily I was the first one to go down and dr Skala came in and drew on me and explained he had also got 420cc in the theatre as he was going to try both those and 390cc to see what best suited me. This made me panic a little as I only asked to be a C cup! I then went down to theatre where the anaesthetist was so sweet, they prepared me and then the assistant talked to me rubbing my cheek till I fell asleep.

Next thing I know I'm waking up in the recovery room with these huge mountains on my chest lol! I couldn't see anything because I was all banadage up. But they felt huge. Not gonna lie I was very sore I couldn't really and my arms were hurting. They keep you in that first night which now I'm so glad about. The pain was manageable with the help of the painkillers they kept on top of every 4 hours. I slept a lot and next thing I knew it 6am and dr Skala was there to take me out of my bandage and put me in the surgery bra.

He seemed very happy upon removing the bandages. I was quite shocked because they were solid and just there! I had chest drains too so these needed to be removed, don't worry ladies this isn't as painful as it sounds! After being put in the bra he gave me a compression band which I had to wear for the whole 6 weeks to help push these girls down.

I was a party bag of dressings and pain killers and driven back to the apartment. That next day comprised of sleeping and watching movies with my boyfriend, who was such a god send in the process. He really looked after me, helping me dress cooking for me and even brushing my hair! That next night sleep was quite uncomfortable and I was a bit restless but was to be expected.

For the next 2 days I just kept on top of the pain relief getting dress and going for approx 4-5k walks for an hour or two a day mostly resting and icing the swelling to get it go down. I think the worst thing is the compression band as those first few days it's really uncomfortable and tight because the implant is so high! On the Thursday I did go back to the clinic to see the nurse for a check up and to check on my incisions which she said all looked fine and she removed the drains plasters as they had already healed nicely.

I then stayed in Prague for another 4 days which mostly compromised of getting drunk and sight seeing we had a great few days and I didn't take any pain relief after the Thursday!

Before flying home on the Monday I went back to the clinic to see dr Skala, he was happy, I was happy and as given the all clear to fly and the necessary discharge paperwork and implant warrenty and info.

I'm now nearly 3 weeks post have no pain just the odd tingle, have been back at work for just over a week too. I feel great, they are dropping nicely thanks to the awful band (I may burn it after the 6 weeks is up!) and so far I'm really happy and I can see where they are heading over the next 3/4 weeks while they are still healing. I'll attached some photos for you all to see my journey, later today!

Hope this helps anyone who's thinking of having a BA or going abroad for surgery, it's honestly the best decision I ever made and it's not as painful and horrific as we all anticipate!

Dr Skala was very friendly and honest. He never mislead me in the consultation to expect anything that was unachievable, he also is very talent and has done an amazing job. He has successfully lowered my mammory fold and released constricted tissue to give me the full breast I was lacking. He is so gentle and I had no brushing and scarring is very neat and clean. He answered all my questions and is very informative and patient, especially if you are afraid. Would 1000% recommend him.
