Resume: Typical case of a girl that passed adolescent age asking why boobs were not growing like everyone else.
I've turned 30 this year. I've been a 32A (70A) since I was 13 and basically am very tired of wired and padded bras and really uncomfortable bikinis. I reaaaaaaaaaaally wanted to do this for so long but never had the courage to actually do the search and go through with it.
So, 2019 is the year. Here I come.
The surgery is booked and scheduled for January 8th with Dr. Martin Skala in Pague (Mediczech clinic). I'm driving to Prague for the surgery (about 2h away from where I live now) with my boyfriend and we will stay there for 4/5/6 nights depending on my recovery and how I feel.
I have to be honest here, I don't know if I'm more excited, scared or anxious for the procedure. I have a huge scare of needles, so for that part I'm already freaking out! Also really worried about the drains as people usually say they hurt like a b*tch to be removed... and also I have some scoliosis, which I'm worried cause I do not want my boobs to be completely different (size and height). The doctor assured me that the scoliosis is not a problem, that we will take different approaches if needed to be sure this will not happen but still, one will always worry right?
Does anyone has any tips on how *not* to think about this? Or how to relax? I would love to hear, please let me know..!
I can't provide many details right now about the size/shape/incision place as this will all be decided in my pre-op consultation when I arrive in Prague, but I will post everything here as this will be my journey diary :)
These pics are me pre-op and some wishboobs (I've been looking to so many reviews, I decided to keep the wishboobs from other ops. Sounds more realistic to me, you know?)
Updated on 29 Dec 2018:
Just wanted to add something that's really bothering me these last few days.. I'm so scared of getting sick! I mean, I am in Germany and the weather here is pretty cold lately, so I'm totally obsessed with not getting the flu or a sore throat.
Can't wait for the 8th!

Starting from the beginning: I and boyfriend took off from Germany and drove to Prague on Monday 7th. Arriving there, we went straight to the hotel and checked in. As I was told not to eat from midnight we went for dinner around 20 and by 21:30 were back at the hotel just watching tv and resting. Big mistake, I fell asleep at 22, which meant that I woke up at 3 am thirsty and hungry. Argh. Anyway, the taxi came to pick us up at 6:45 and took us to the clinic/hospital.
Getting to Mediczech, I met Tereza who is the person that assists you throughout the whole process. She was great and answered all my questions and even managed for me to do the "pee" exam earlier as I was waiting to go to the toilet already for a few hours (hahaha). I also met Jessica (fictional name) who was also coming from abroad to have breast surgery (not augmentation like me but reduction and lift) and we ended up being roommates for the 2 days I stayed there which was great news for me as she was really nice!
I signed all the papers and did the initial exams and consultation with the interim doctor and after they cleared me for surgery I went to my consultation with Dr. Skala. I was so nervous at this point, I was starting to ask myself if I really wanted to go through with this (seriously freaking out).
As soon as I entered the consultation room and greeted the doctor, a calmness got into me that I just cannot explain. Dr. Skala was really nice, explained everything to me and answered all my questions, including when it came to recovery (I had a LOT of questions there). He was very honest in regards to my scoliosis, which is quite visible in the pics I post here, and told me straight away that my nipples would still remain unaligned. However, the incision place was different for each side and the implants have different sizes to make them as similar as possible. I decided on using Nagor Round implants, and the size was to be decided by Dr. Martin during surgery: Either 300cc (right) /330cc (left) or 330cc (right) /360cc (left), depending on which one would look less "fake" on me. Of course, I asked for the bigger sizes but in the end, I trusted him.
The waiting for the surgery was the worst part. A young looking Czech nurse came to set up my IV (did I mention already that needles FREAK ME OUT?!), and at this point I was so nervous Jessica even asked me if I wanted her to hold my hand :D as the nurse started doing the IV, she stops and starts checking the needle (which was already inside my arm) and says something like that's the wrong needle. I so wanted to scream at her. ARGHHHH. Anyway, off she went and back again this time with the right needle. So with the IV in and the saline, I fell asleep almost instantly and only woke up to see them taking me to the surgery block. That was when I started shaking really bad. As we got to the block, I noticed that the nurses did not speak English and they were really rough and not friendly at all. Anyway, the anesthesiologist came to chat with me and all I could say was "please just put me to sleep now". I remember he smiling to me for a few seconds and then nothing else.
When I woke up, I was in recovery and was feeling fine. Just sleepy and tired so I just kept on sleeping. Sometime later they took me back to my room where my bf was sleeping and woke up to give me a "already?!" haha
I have to say, the bandages I had around my boobs did not give out anythinggg. I could not see them at all they were so tight I was struggling a bit to breathe. I also had 2 drains, 1 on each side which was not the most comfortable thing in the world either, if you know what I mean, but the doc said it would prevent problems, so in they go.
The nurses kept coming to my room to check my pressure and etc (not sure what the exams were) and to give me some food, change the saline and give me painkillers. However, one of the times they were doing the pressure exam, one of the nurses actually gave me a small punch right in the middle of my boobs. I was SOOOOOOOO upset. She did not speak English and I was just like "WTH?!". Have to say that was the worst part of the whole experience for me. Gladly, for the night shift, a really nice nurse called Valeria and boy nurse (who I, unfortunately, cannot remember the name) came in and took over. They were really friendly and I could see they understood much better what I've been through and what could or not do at the time. I was really happy they were there.
At 6 am the next day, Dr. Skala came in to check on me. He took off the bandages and the drains (which let me just add, did not hurt at all, in fact, I did not feel a thing!), and put me on the elastic bra and band in the pic. He gave me instructions for the next few days and told me I could shower straight away. I have to say I absolutely loved my new boobs straight away
