Post WLS and ready for round two of plastic surgery..... A lower body lift and an arm lift....a long time coming!

I just wanted to update on here that I am 20 days postop surgery from my vertical thigh lift that I went back to have, and the results are amazing! I now love my body completely head to toe… I’ve never ever said that in my life before! I started a new review if you’re interested in reading about my thigh lift procedure!

Everything is back to normal! I am thrilled with my results, my arms really make me giddy... I am so in love with them! And my scars are fading beautifully and do not bother me in the least. I will be going back to see Dr. C for an inner thigh lift, and I will definitely be journaling on that when the time comes. I have just been busy living my best life and enjoying all the work that Dr. C did on me. I have no more swelling, but sometimes I do get a tight feeling right above my rear end and in my lower back, it is not painful it is just there… But she did lift my rear end up 5 inches so that’s a lot of skin tightening! I want to say thank you to everybody for taking the time to read my journey, and sending me such positive comments, and allowing me the opportunity to answer some questions for those of you who are going to be going through the procedure like I did. I am so glad that I journaled as often and as detailed as I did, because as I read it back.. half of it was just a blur! I am attaching some pictures of me enjoying life as best I can!

It’s incredible, but these eight weeks went by so fast, but so slow at the same time! I can now officially ditch my compression garment, but that won’t be happening quite yet… I’m not wearing it during the day, but I prefer to sleep in it at night for the time being. I’m not getting super tired from walking distances so much anymore, but honestly, it is still a process! I really thought I would be back to 100% by now, but I would say I’m at 85%. My lower back is still numb to the touch from all the liposuction, and sometimes my back side feels so tight, which I appreciate, from having all the skin removed, it doesn’t hurt… But definitely a weird hard to describe tight feeling! In the last week and a half my arms totally turned a healing corner and I am able to fully lift them over my head without feeling any pulling pressure in my armpits. I started using Mederma on my scars a couple weeks ago, and it really has done wonders on my arm scars, they are fading nicely, and the bumpiness is turning smooth. I am still beyond thrilled with the results that Dr. Cardenas was able to give me, and I would do it over in a second! I am currently wearing a size 6 or 8 in shorts, and being able to put on anything I want and not have any rolls over a waistband or anything else is absolutely priceless! And the fact that Dr. C injected into my hips gives me a wonderful silhouette that I did not have before! My current stats are that I am 5 foot 4 1/2, I weigh 132 pounds… and I love my new body!
