After multiple attempts to loose weight I finally am ready. 4 years ago I started the process of getting Gastric Bypass (originally). I went through the Psychiatric evals, swallow studies, nutrition consults... even had a surgery date. Only to back out literally 3 weeks before. I wasn't ready, I was scared, I needed to do more research, I needed to make sure "I" was ready.... NOW I AM. Thanks to my family, medical staff and my dedication.

That is awesome. I started at 327 I am down to 320 a/o yesterday ( on my own). I am in the beginning phase of my journey. Im trying to get as much weight off as I can so maybe my paperwork can go to the insurance earlier than 3 months which will be December.

I Got My Surgery Date!!! November 23 is the big day!!!
I finally got a surgery date, pre-op appt date and date to start my preop diet. I am so excited. It felt like an eternity waiting... but lol, the wait has literally just begun. My thoughts/emotions are everywhere, but I am in a great place. Not bad emotions/thoughts.... More like overwhelming excitement. Pray for me people, from what i am hearing/reading in most cases the wait to the actual surgery date and the pre-op diet are the worst. But well worth it! I could do a cartwheel right about now!!! Thank you all in advance for your support and words of encouragement/enlightenment.

Good Luck to you! Funny reading your post because I felt the same type of emotions running through my body/mind. I had my sleeve on Oct. 1 and doing pretty good so far. Hang in there.
