I had a Micro-needling treatment with PRF w/ Katherine 2 weeks ago. The actual micro-needling procedure lasted maybe 15 min but we had to wait for the topical numbing cream to take effect. It was only moderately painful in the bony areas of my face as she applied pressure with the pen. My face was very red for the rest of the day (no pain at all) & then by day 3 the redness was gone as I continued to apply the Recovery Complex they supplied, for a week, which also helped with the slight dryness. Within 1 week, my skin felt tighter & smoother and the fine lines & large pores around my chin, nose & eyes were noticeably reduced. My skin tone is more even & it has a nice glow! I will definitely get this procedure quarterly as the down time is basically 1 day & the results within 2 weeks are already exactly what I was looking for. I always sleep on my right side and the lines on the right side of my chin are much improved. I also spend a great deal of time in the sun & the hyper-pigmentation spots are less visible. I have had Micro-needling with PRP before & I feel like with the PRF, the recovery was quicker & the results more dramatic & better.
