I changed my tape the other day and wanted to post some pics of the scar. My doctor did such a good job! They're hardly there and right at my mammory folds. I hope it continues healing like this because I tend to get bad keloids.

I know I'm really surprised at my scars too. I'm 100% sure my doctor has some special technique for it, cause I definitely tend to scar dark. I read it's very normal for scars to look "angry" the first 6 months, and then lighten with time.

Your scars look fantastic! I'll have to keep reading to see what you have been doing or using on them.

34D & working out

User Avatar

I started working out for the first time post op. I avoided pushups but could hold my body weight up with certain movements just fine. It was mostly squats and cycling. I've found that a c cup is just too tight going around my breasts so I'm officially a 34D. I uploaded some full body shots- don't mind my wrinkly belly, it's from holding two babies :)
I think they perfectly even out my body- I used to be very pear shaped and now I look more balanced. From the front they look modest but you can see a good amount of projection from the side view.
Overall I feel extremely happy about the boobs. I love them so much and I love my body and how it looks with and without clothes. Sometimes I think they might be too big, but 97% of the time I think they're perfect. The right boob is still a tad tighter and higher, but making progress settling. Since I didn't have much boob before, they do feel harder than a natural breast, but I'm glad it at least doesn't LOOK hard and fake... which is fine if you're into that look, I'm not. The underside is still knumb, but nipple sensation is completely intact, so I'm ok with it.
Again, super super happy overall with going through with the surgery, the recovery, and results!

They look really good! I am thinking of 275s for my revision for sure. I also noticed more side boob on mine and less projection in front

Thanks! When would the revision happen? Do you have to completely heal first?

I’m seeing him in May for a follow up. Will ask then. Last meeting he said wait 6months to a year.

Scar Update!

I had a one month appointment, which was supposed to be a two week appointment, oops. Took the tape off and my doctor wasn't concerned about scary therapy at all, but suggested I could put fresh paper tape on it every several days to help keep the skin from separating. I took some pics of my scars after a shower and they look so good! I'm really happy with how they're healing so far. The redness is from me scratching off old tape stickiness and peeling the previous tape off. It's not irritated at all normally.
Also I am gonna start wearing underwires for the next month or so- with no padding or squishing- so that the implants heal with everything in the right place. I went to Nordstrom to get fitted and came out a 34C/D. My droopy boob has always been a little bigger and seems to fit just a tad better in a D, though I definitely fit a C cup perfectly. The bra I'm wearing in the pic is a C cup by Natori. Probably one of the most expensive bras I've ever bought, but so gorgeous and fits like a dream- just so perfect. I'm so so excited to have lingerie again!
