WORTH IT
Still having a bit of swelling on the right side otherwise everything is going very well. Two weeks ago PS said to return in 3 months. He gave me the okay to start using the NewGel+ silicone scar treatments as well as clearing me for all of my regular activities. He said I could wear underwire now but after trying on bras a week ago I am going to hold off. Underwires are uncomfortable! I was sized at at 36 B/C but I think I am closer to a C cup. I am very happy with the size, back and neck pain has decreased and I am feeling a lot more confident about my figure.
My incisions are still a little tender at times but nothing continuous or extremely painful

So happy to see you recovering so well! You really look great! Congratulations! I tried on underwires yesterday (I'm just over 5 weeks post). They weren't too bad but wearing them all day may be hard. Im with you on wanting to take it slow on getting back into those :)
You look great! Happy your doing and healing well.
How much did it cost?

Almost 3wks postOp

Healing well. Bruising is nearing gone. Still tender to touch when my kids are a little rough with me. All of sutures are dissolveable so I just have the steri-strips. Between my breasts the adhesive is starting to decrease and my doc said I could trim the ends of the strips as they loosen, so I had to do that a couple nights ago. I'm looking forward to seeing what my incisions look like and have already acquired the silicone sheets for scars that my surgeon recommended.

I returned to work at 16 days postOp and other than a little tired I was physically ok.

Worth it!

Even with the complication that landed me back in the OR the next day and the eventually blood transfusion I needed I can wholeheartedly say the reduction was worth it. I tried on a dress that was never a good fit and I could only wear with a certain bra and it fits like a glove now. My breasts are right where they should be in this dress and I briefly even entertained wearing it without a bra someday. All of my XL shirts are too big and I am feeling very motivated to work on my belly as my breasts no longer hide it.

I go back for a 2week postOp visit next week and hope to have the okay to start riding my bike soon. I am looking forward to no back pain when I exercise!

I am not sure about size as I am not even 2 weeks postOp and still wearing sports bras 24/7. I am hoping to settle to a C cup.

Swelling and bruising aren't too bad.

you look like a totally different woman. I think it speaks volumes about this surgery to have to go through a transfusion and still think it is worth it. Glad you're doing better and enjoying the benefits of the surgery.
