My Experience (So Far) with Coolsculpting! Portland, OR

Pleased with my results. Considering another treatment, when my budget allows of course :)

I'de say 90% of the soreness is gone & you can still see some bruising towards my back but it looks better. I still have some numbness feeling across the front of my stomach but that's it. Looking forward to seeing the results.

Well hello there, let me start by saying my name is Megan, I'm a 27 year old mother of 2 from Oregon. For the past 18 months or so I have been on a quest of self improvement both inside & out of course. For a long time being a young mother I always put myself on the back burner, I never really found "me" time which I desperately wanted & needed! I finally decided to do something for myself. Liposuction I felt like was a bit too extreme for my circumstances, I started googling non-invasive fat removal which lead me to Coolsculpting. After a few months of looking into it & educating myself on the whole process I was pretty much convinced that this was something I wanted to try. I did my first consultation at a popular plastic surgeons office here in Portland, they quoted me $750 per area, with a buy 3 get one free deal they had going it would've been $2,250 for 4 areas which I felt like was a good deal but I still wanted to shop around some more. When I got back online that night I came across Dr.Rajani's office in downtown Portland. This is where I eventually had the treatment done. The procedure was not done by Dr.Rajani himself but my a trained coolsculpting technician. She was VERY nice & helpful but not pushy. She informed me they would charge me $2,000 total for the same 4 areas ($500 each area) their office was pretty conveniently located, they could schedule me in sooner since they have extended hours not just mon-friday 9-5pm & they offer "dual-sculpting" which means twice the fat being treated in half the time. What would've been 4 hours of treatment at other places only took 2 hours there which is a huge plus in my book.
The coolsculpting itself wasn't too bad, although I do consider myself to have a high threshold for pain. It was a very deep suction/pulling feeling, it felt cool at times, it felt warm at times, & it stung as if someone [RS bleep] slapped your stomach on a cold day. It was uncomfortable & slightly awkward but tolerable in my opinion. I had my love handles & 2 treatments to the front of my stomach done. Two applicators were applied at a time for 60 min. They had a large TV with cable in the room which helped the time pass much faster. After the applicators were removed it felt kind of numb & sore & very cold to the touch. The lady massaged the area which wasn't very pleasant but only last a minute or so. Last night I slept well, I just had to be a little careful. My stomach this morning still feels a little numb but mostely sore. Wearing tight yoga pants around the area is helping. It did however bring color back to some of my stretch marks which you couldn't really see before since they are so old, I'm hoping that wont last long. I have not seen results so far obviously since I just had it done yesterday but I will keep updating on how things are going over the next few months!
