WORTH IT$14,000
I'm back 100% into weight lifting, increasing my load up to pre-surgery weights, sometimes exceeding! Abs still tender, but it's finally starting to subside. Same with the lipo sites... slowly getting better. Still have some areas of numbness that I'm getting used to. Overall I'm doing great - can't complain!

Two Month Update

Super busy at work these days, plus other obligations, sorry for the lack of updates!
Abs and lower back are somehow still tender at times. I’m back in the gym lifting several days a week, nothing ab focused yet. My weight has remained steady at 129 or so, of course, my diet hasn’t been great either...
No longer wearing the CG at night. I’m down to a size XS. The first few days I couldn’t fit the ab board underneath, now I can. I don’t wear it on sedentary days anymore because there’s just no difference in swelling.
I’m still not using my abs 100%, even getting up from a reclined position I mostly use my arms and legs. Swelling in the lipo areas is gone and wow, my waist feels tiny! Overall things are great and I’m very happy with my results. Now to work hard in the gym and make them even better! ????????

One month PO

Hit my one month mark! Not too much change over the past week. Being at work all day or going out on the weekend is exhausting. My back, sides, and abs are still tender. Swelling is finally starting to budge again. I can see the return of my back dimples today. I’m in size small compression garments, but probably ready for xs now.
I weighed in this morning at 128.4, down exactly two pounds since the day of surgery. My waist is the same as pre-surgery, 28.5”. My belly is one inch bigger still, at 33”. Considering how swollen I am still, those numbers make me pretty happy!
Sleep has been an adventure. I like to be on my side with my body twisted, bottom leg straight out and top leg bent. Obviously I can’t do that yet, so my hips get sore in the morning from the pressure since I have to sleep with my body straight.
My scar is really something else. Dr. Gorin did such a fantastic job on it. Tiny, clean line. I just switched from scar cream to vitamin E, messy stuff!
This recovery is not for the faint of heart. At first, it’s the physical aspects that get to you. Honestly the psychological struggles can be worse though. My starting point didn’t lend to a dramatic immediate result like some other ladies have. A month out and I’m still thicker than before and I question if it was all worth it. I know this healing process takes 6+ months and I have a win already - no more crepey loose skin spilling out of my gym pants (wearing for comfort only!) that I have to cover up. Sad belly button is gone. It’s still hard to stay positive sometimes.
On the other hand, my boobs are complete perfection. I showed Dr. Gorin some wish pics for my surgery day and he said he couldn’t get results that nice because of my anatomy. He also wasn’t sure that I could get he size I want. My expectations were not high so I left everything up to his judgment in the OR. I’m thrilled with the results. Shouldn’t have been worried in the first place!

I wish I would have found your story sooner! My surgery was December 18th so we are just a few days apart. How are you doing now? It sounds like you have had a pretty easy recovery like I have. I tried to go to work with out me CG the other day and I totally regretted it. I had not had swelling that bad since right after surgery lol.

I'm doing great! I only wear my CG to work or on days when I'm doing physical activity. For the most part, swelling has been low and steady. These past two weeks I've been lifting heavy-ish, trying to work my way back up. I don't get significant swelling anymore, but things start to get sore really fast if I do anything physical without the CG.
I'll add some new photos too! I haven't posted any recently because I'm not seeing much change anymore.

I just singed up for a super hilly 15k run this Saturday... I stupidly thought I had a little more time lol. I ran 4 miles the other day without my CG, but I’m thinking for a longer one like this I better wear it.
