Mastectomy and DIEP Flap reconstruction after second breast cancer diagnosis
WORTH IT
I met Dr Cober at a very scary and uncertain time in my life: I'd been diagnosed with a local site recurrence of breast cancer 2 years after the first diagnosis, at which time I did chemo, lumpectomy and radiation. I was angry, scared and very uncertain. Dr Cober was very matter of fact, calm and answered bucketloads of questions for my partner and I. I feel blessed that if I had to go thru this, Dr Cober was at my side to provide me with information to make the best health care decision for me. Would highly recommend him and I am so pleased with the results. He referred me to Mary Jane (MJ)Haake for the post surgery tattooing and I love her artistry and vision. She suggested designs and guided me to our final artwork. When I look in the mirror, I don't see tattoos, I see me. MJ is caring, kind and has found her true calling helping restore women who have to walk this path.
