Dr. Cober and his team of rockstars are amazing! I did extensive research over nearly two years before choosing Tanasbourne Plastic Surgery for my surgical needs. I’m so pleased with the team and the results! Procedures: Breast reduction, including removal of ADH cells Diastasis recti repair Panniculectomy I was so impressed with the care provided by Dr. Cober and team. A few reasons why they were so amazing: I was worried and uncomfortable going into my consultation, but those feelings were quickly waived as I felt immediately comfortable with Dr. Cober. I didn’t feel judged whatsoever. I felt I was in the right place, with a doctor that had very capable hands. It was recommended that I get a mammogram before my breast reduction. Not required, but recommended. This mammogram resulted in abnormal cells that had to be removed. Dr. Cober was incredibly supportive and referred me to an excellent oncologist, Dr. De Melena, who was able to work hand in hand with Dr. Cober. Without skipping a beat, he pivoted and had Dr. De Melena piggyback my original surgery to remove the bad cells at the same time, minimizing the need for additional worry, panic, planning, or surgery.. This was, without a doubt, life saving. Dr. Cober and his team held my hand through the entire process, and were responsive when questions arose. I sent the team a message on Christmas, and it was Dr. Cober himself who responded. That is above and beyond excellent service. The results of my mommy-overhaul were better than I could have ever imagined. I am no longer in chronic pain, I have healthy breasts, and my abdominal muscles work appropriately. I am sincerely grateful for Tanasbourne Plastic Surgery. They, as a team, have changed my life tremendously. Dr. Cober is without question an amazing surgeon.

I had a breast reduction surgery with Dr.Cober in January 2025, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I absolutely love the way my new, smaller breasts look—very natural and exactly what I hoped for. The procedure itself went smoothly, and I recovered quickly with no complications or adverse side effects. Dr. Cober provided excellent guidance prior to surgery, including helpful recommendations on support bras for recovery, which made the process so much easier. My experience with Dr. Cober has been beyond anything I could have prepared for. After having breast cancer 3x and numerous surgeries by several other surgeons I can honestly say that he treated me like a woman not just a "cancer patient". He heard me and listened to my fears and my hopes for how I might be reconstructed after much damage from prior treatments (mostly radiation damage). Dr. Cober and his staff were very friendly and informative in what to expect and how long the process would take. They were also helpful in working with insurance for the coverage being approved. I saw Dr. Cober for breast augmentation with fat transfer through liposuction. The procedure, recovery, and results were all as expected from his detailed explanations leading up to the surgery. I would recommend Dr. Cober for both procedures, especially as breast augmentation with fat and no inclusion of implants is still rare to find.

In October 2023 I was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer. As I had very large breasts (bra size 36I) for someone of my stature (5 ft.) my oncology surgeon felt I was a candidate for breast preservaton thru reduction after my lumpectomy and referred me to Dr. Sheldon Cober's office. I found Dr. Cober, and his staff, to be very caring and detailed oriented. It did not surprise me to have Dr. Cober discuss with me notes he read from the portal that my oncology team had posted regarding my care. That is preparation at its finest. I am thankful for and happy with the results (even though the healing process is a challenging experience). The "downsizing" of at least 6 bra sizes has given me a more positive self-image at this stage of my life, and I no longer fear for the off-handed rude comments from those with little or no social graces. Nearly 50 years of that is enough! I am also thankful that I can continue with most other activities that I enjoy including golf.

I lived with large breasts too long. They effected my shoulder neck and back. I was in constant pain. I didn’t feel good about the way I looked in clothes. They walked me through the long process that I was getting ready to go threw. . If I had any questions they always made me feel like I was important. I am very pleased with the results.
