Update
WORTH IT$9,400
I just wanted to add an updated photo of my new neckline. This is me almost 2-1/2 after the surgery. I just turned 65 and couldn’t be happier with these results.
I will be returning to Dr. Lee in about six months For a fat transfer to fill in my deep eye sockets.

After losing 75 pounds two years ago, I developed a very saggy neck and jowls. Since I'm 62, there was no way these were going to fix themselves. I read excellent reviews about Dr Lee on this site and Yelp, so I met with him for a consult. He answered every question I had and many I didn't think to ask. He obviously knew his craft and I didn't see any reason to keep shopping around. His staff were friendly and professional. I opted for a neck and lower face lift and fat transfers into my face. There was very little pain or bruising, but for a week there was a lot of swelling. To cover the scars I had some hair extensions added the day before the surgery. I could not be happier with the results. I haven't had such a nice neckline since my early 30s, and the overall result is very natural looking. I don't have that weird pulled look you see on some people; I simply look like a younger version of myself. What really amazes me is how good the results are just two weeks after surgery.

You look great! :) Do you feel like you're fully recovered?

It's now been just three weeks, and I feel mostly recovered. I think at four weeks when I can be physically active again I'll feel fully recovered.

Well congratulations, you look much younger and your neck is stunning! Thank you for sharing your experience and photos with the community! I hope your recovery is going well. How are the scars looking?

I can barely see any scarring. At 4 weeks out, my hairstylist said it looks a little red behind my ears, but that's all she could really see. The treatment includes a gel to minimize scarring, which I apply twice daily.

Hi there, just curious if you think the scar gel helped? My scars behind my ears are redder than I expected at this point, but not sure what might help. I'm seeing my doc in a few days so I'll ask him about it. Love your results!

I think the scar gel definitely helped. My hair stylist has commented on how quickly they disappeared and said a couple of weeks ago that she could barely see them. Given that I scar pretty easily and my scars from other minor surgeries years ago are still visible, I credit both the surgeon and the scar gel for these results.

Hi CrankyGirl, what a difference! I am right there with you only I am 60 and I lost 50 lbs. but I am having neck and lower face with fat transplant. I just came from my primary physicians office where I had an EKG and listened to my heart he said all I need is the chest x-ray and then he will send the release to my plastic surgeon. My surgery is scheduled for July 12th with my pre-op June 21st. I hope my results are nearly as good as yours. Once I go to my pre-op apt I will start my blog. Thank you so much for sharing, it really does put me at ease while I am waiting to see someone with the same procedure have good results. I only have 2 weeks off of work so I hope I don't have any swelling or bruising when I go back to work because I don't wear foundation.

I slathered on bioCorneum several times a day. My surgeon recommended it.

No offense, but there is absolutely no way hair can grow that much in three weeks.
