An implant removal outcome can be more uncertain...
An implant removal outcome can be more uncertain and the process more complicated than the initial insertion. Four years of right facial pain made the removal decision the only potential cause/remedy left after bouncing thru multiple specialists. (dentists & dental specialists, ENT's, facial surgeons, etc.) The removal was well worth doing. My chin appearance is fine, my multiple symptoms disappearing, and I have my health back.

I came to Dr. Michael Kim for implant removal. (Another physician had inserted the chin implant.) Dr. Kim was an attentive listener. He assured me to the process, potential issues that might arise, and expected outcome. He did a very good job with the surgery. I have little scarring. He provided a second followup visit to access whether my symptoms were resolving. Since I had seen multiple specialists to resolve right facial pain issues, I appreciated his consideration of the concerns driving implant removal.
