Well I am one week pre-surgery and I am starting to get extra nervous / anxious / excited. Like I said about I am 22 years old (23 in March, I am hoping my girls are ready ;)) I weight about 150, 5'4, 36DDD/e, hoping to go down to a 36C and did I mention I am excited?

I have been having bad back pain for years!! I was a collegiate athlete and it was always painful but worth it to me. I loved soccer and lacrosse and wouldn't trade that experience for anything. It was rough strapping the girls down with 2 sports bras, but I managed.

I have most things prepared for my surgery. I will clean the house and get all the laundry done prior. My boyfriend and mother will be taking care of me. Good luck to them ;) I get bossy when I am in pain. I am so ready for the whole thing to be over with.. I keep hearing that I have to be patient.. which I am not very patient. I hear that gets better with age..probably having kids helps with that!! haha

I have had my pre-op appointment, prescriptions are in, surgery bra has been ordered, work is scheduled to take 2 weeks off.. now I wait!

I am hoping to keep posting about how post-op goes for everyone out there. This has been SO helpful!!!! Wish me luck :)

Now being fully developed and ready to relieve this pain - my surgery is set for

Surgery Done Today! 1st night...

I had my BR surgery this morning and it went extremely well. The staff was so nice and comforting. I had the anesthesia and I was out instantly and woke up feeling like it was only a second. I started crying of pure joy when I woke up next to the nurse, I could feel the difference already - I looked down! Ah, so great. I didn't feel much pain after and today, mostly pressure. I have been taking my meds regularly, so that is helping I am sure. I took a nap, but I hope I can sleep well tonight.

I am headed back to the doctor tomorrow morning to check on them! Again - excited / nervous to see them!! I will keep you updated.

Anyone else having your BR this week, I wish you the best!!1 xoxo

Day 3 post op

shellbayy
hey everyone! I am on day 3 and still feeling pretty good. I really haven't had much pain, mostly soreness and a little itchy. I have been taking my Tylenol and oxy every 4 hours. I am feeling just a little extra tired today...

I saw my PS yesterday for the next day follow up. Got a sneak peak of the new girls and I was already so happy!! Even with the swelling and bruising, I know I'm going to be so happy. She said I can shower today - probably will this afternoon.

Still no nausea or no bowel movement. But I did take a stool softener... I heard that is normal tho!

Love having so much support from friends and family! So far so good!!!

Pics to follow....
