First, let me say that Dr. Holly is pleasant and professional. He also has a very caring and kind bedside manner. His staff are kind, attentive and efficient. His office is beautiful and very clean.
Dr. Holly was 1 of 3 physicians that I consulted with. He met with me 3 times prior to my surgery to evaluate me and discuss my desired outcome/goals. I am a 48 year old mother of three. I saved for several years so that I could have this tummy tuck done. My desire was to get rid of my round belly and get a new belly button. Dr. Holly and I discussed my desires thoroughly. I felt strongly that we were on the same page and I fully expected that I would be happy with the results of lipo of my flanks and tummy tuck. Sad to say, but I was wrong. My surgery went well and I did not have any complications. I also did not receive a single follow-up call from Dr. Holly or anyone on his staff. While I do look better than before surgery, my improvement is only marginal. I even paid for a revision with the hope of improving my overall result, but no such luck. My belly is still round. I still have a section of my lower abdomen that protrudes over the top of my panties and/or pants. I did not get a belly button. I just have a dark spot that kind of looks like one. I did not expect perfection or to look like a model with a six pack of abs, but I certainly did NOT expect to still have a jelly role!! I am 10 months post op, so this is not swelling.
I met with Dr. Holly just recently to discuss my concerns. He offered to do lipo on my belly for an additional $3000.00. No Thanks!!!! I am going to consult with another surgeon to see if anything can be done to help me.
I am a woman of color and I really should have considered the fact that he did not have any photos of women of color in his brag book that I could have reviewed. I referred a friend, also a woman of color, to Dr. Holly for a tummy tuck and she is not happy either.
I am glad to know that Dr. Holly has done a great job for others, but I was not so lucky ????

I am so sad to read this review. But it only confirmed something I've been suspecting about Dr. Holley- he does not do well with African American patients- period! I'm not saying he is racist. I don't know what the issues is. But I too noticed he didn't have but 1 or 2 in his brag book when I went to look into breast augmentation but he a "yes" man. Everything I said, that I asked for, that I showed him examples of, he said- yes, absolutely; I can give you what you're asking for. Not only am I dissatisfied with what my breasts look like, but I had a bunch of post op complications and pain. I'm at 5 months out and my breast still hurt and/or just don't feel right. I met with him several times over the first few months and his response to my dissatisfaction and my pain were pretty much: "I think I did a great job! They look great to me! I never told you I could give you more cleavage than that. That amount of side boob is normal. They look exactly how I wanted them to..." All the while I was thinking, wow, well that's nice that you like them but you didn't pay for them and it's not what I asked for and showed him pictures of. As for the pain, he wrote it off as having NOTHING to do with the surgery. "You had fibrous breast to begin with, so if you have painful cysts, I'm not surprised. At 3 months I had to go to a breast surgeon to have an ultrasound (which I asked Dr. Holley to do but he wouldn't) to discover that I had more cysts than they could remove, that the implants are sitting in a way that is agitating my tissue, and that I will probably never feel normal again unless I have them removed and redone by someone else. This certainly could have been prevented by him doing an ultrasound of my oh so fibrous breasts on the front end and/or at least having a conversation about that being possible. In the end, through my medical insurance I had to have ultrasounds, removal of 6 cysts and the biopsy of an abnormal mass calcification. My friends ask me if I would refer them to Dr. Holley- absolutely not! But they ask would I do it all over again and the answer is- I wish I did more research and looked for a surgeon who served and worked with a lot more African American clients. I think he has done a great job for others because they were worth listening too; he was probably less dismissive and more honest with "others."
