3.5 week post op...

WORTH IT$3,000
I am 3.5 weeks post explant, I am still extatic. I went shopping today and that was definetly a reality check, my waist line seems to be larger than my chest so I was not feeling too sexy. I need to get my ass in shape. Anyway, my incisions seem to have a few lumps and are a little bit hard and sore in areas.. I'm going to stop in to see the Dr. this week and check in. Any body else experience this?

I had my explant October 24th and my incisions sound like yours. I see my PS on Tuesday. You should not call them little guys-they are little ladies (just kidding) They are beautiful and, I bet, so are you. Thanks for sharing. God Bless..

Can you keep me posted on what your PS says.

I saw her yesterday and she indicated that the crevasse was due to absolutely no breast tissue left. It was not attached to anything. I would need a fat transplant to correct that. She also said that I would need my nipples moved up but that I should wait until I am 6 months post op to do anything. I asked her about PSs in Mexico and she said I should check a site called MBC.gov which is the medical board of California to see if they were licensed in the US. I could not find either of the PSs referred to on our site as licensed here. However, if you look carefully at their own sites you will see they say they are remembers of SDPSS. That does not mean they are licensed here I think but I don't know for sure. Another four months will certainly give me time to research them. Since I am 72 and am not really caring about looking great, I may or may not have any further procedures. My PS says she can not do them based on Scripps protocols. I don't understand that but it is as it is. I certainly can't afford the cost of doing them in the US. Only time will tell. Aside from a bad vaginal infection due to the preop and postop antibiotics, I am healing very well. I pray the same for you. I could not open your private message so I don't mind reaching you this way if it's all right with you. God Bless

My explant w/ local is in early March. I have 600cc silicone. I have been so worried my stomach will look bigger than my chest. Incentive though. Any advise? You look great! My ps doesn't use compression which is different. I am going to get a zip front soft bra though. I'm nervous on how I will look but also excited to be natural. I think I will feel younger too.

HI There, my thoughts are this. Get your implants taken out. Sit with your new look for a few months. You will be surprised at how our body bounces back. Then you will be able to make a decision on what you feel you need to do from there.

Thank you Dawn1221. I'm not planning any revision. I want to be natural. I am really excited. I work out often but I am still limited in jumping and being more active with heavy implants. I think my original ps said they were 2lbs each. Ugh! Can't wait. I noticed you mentioned that your waistline seems larger now. That's what I'm wondering about too. I also think it will be incentive to lose a few lbs. but I will also have more energy without I'm sure.

I have so much more energy. I joined a gym and although I only go 3x a week, I've already slimmed down. It's incredible how our body changes so quickly. I always felt top heavy so I think I put on a little extra weight to compensate. You are going to be a look great..

They're going through phases right now... they look great and should fluff back up. Lots of fluff dust to you and happy healing :)
November 21, 2014
Thank you.. I hope they fluff a bit but I am still extatic. What are you wearing as far as a bra? I have this surgical bra that is killing me. I feel like wearing nothing but I know I should have some support.

Hi Dawn1221 Likewise i too have had my implants removed at the ripe old age of 58 mine were in 18 years and i was so worried how i would look. How do i feel and look ?? I feel fantastic and the look well i can cope with that. A little saggy with not much volume one being a bit better than the other. But hey it was the best decision i made altho wasnt a choice has i had one that had ruptured. I never realised how ill these toxic bags of silicon had made me feel. Also god was def on my side as whilst in theatre it was discovered i also had a blood clot behind the one implant. So my op was def meant to be . Its been just over two weeks for me but im healing well now and getting there. Best of luck with your recovery too. We have all supported each other thru this site its been great to share our experiences. Good luck [RS bleep]
