You've Found the Best; Looking Further is a Waste of Time.
It’s hard to put into words how wonderful my experience with Dr. Shieh and his team has been so far because honestly there aren’t words to describe. I’ve seen several dentists and had multiple opinions to address the unevenness of my front teeth from the time I graduated high school and went through 3 sets of braces. I managed to put this off for over 15 years and I’m glad I waited. I found PGH Smile Boutique by doing a Google search. When I called to schedule a consultation I spoke with the team and then Dr. Shieh for over 20 minutes, in the middle of his work day. He answered all questions I had and provided me information that I didn't even know to consider. He didn’t speak at me or above me- he spoke to me and listened. He made me feel totally comfortable and excited that I could be a candidate for veneers and not have to go through unnecessary, money making, lengthy processes that other opinions had suggested. The following day I heard from him again and he reviewed similar cases he had done previously so I had visuals of his work. He cares, he’s up-front, he’s honest, he isn’t a salesman-he’s an educator of options and is a master of his craft. I’m not one to ask questions especially during a procedure-in their care it’s different. It’s welcomed and encouraged that you fully understand what’s going on or what something looks like and gladly answered. There’s no anxiousness or nervousness about going to see them, rather excitement for how great they’ll have you looking when you leave.. that is after you wipe the tears of happiness before you make your way out the door!
Also, the office is not just clean, it’s immaculate, the music is your choice so forget the stereotypical waiting room tunes. Don’t worry about a waiting room though b/c they don’t make appointments then have you sit and wait, they operate according to appt. times!
