After many months of researching a dentist in Colombia, I decided up go with Dr. Zabaleta at Sonrisa Italiana in Barranquilla. After many calls and online meetings with other Dentist I was about to give up hope. Firstly, I liked that they are a Family business. I was able to find so much about them online. He teaches all over the world was able to see their amazing work and not only did cosmetic but also restoration which is very important. Lots of dentists just do cosmetic. I felt safer and more comfortable with a dentist that does it all. The health of your teeth and gums are just as important. Everyone there is so amazing and love what they do. It’s a team effort. They have their own Lab and state of the art office with everything you need to create a perfect smile. Issa, the dentist wife and coordinator takes care of all your needs, from beginning to end. You will do live calls and she will answer all question and prepare an itinerary so you know exactly what to expect and what your days will be like. Also gives you info on who will be picking you up and driving you around to your appointments. I am a 60 year old woman and I traveled there alone. I felt very safe and comfortable. They took such good care of me. It’s a process, with lots of choices for your makeover. Color, texture, size, porcelain, resin. They work with you and never rush to a decision until you’re happy with your smile. I truly would highly recommend Sonrisa Italiana. They love what they do and it shows in their work. They do it all. I had so much restorative work done and an implant and no pain at all. A little soreness but that’s it. I was shocked. I would highly recommend them. Their work is impeccable.
