“Mini” Mommy Makeover

WORTH IT$13,500
I am 36, 5’7”, 132#, athletic. After two pregnancies, both C-sections and one of them with twins, I have a herniated belly button and a couple inches of diastasis to repair. My 34C cups are now 34A. I’m not worried about what other people think I look like, I want to do the surgery for myself and feeling confident in the bedroom with my husband. He loves the way I look now because I gave them his three kids but I want to feel sexier! And this herniated belly button sticks about 2 inches out of my clothing. :-) so even though I’m lean and thin, I have a finger poking out of my clothes. Ha!
I just scheduled my surgery for December 31. My twins will be 18 months old and my toddler four months old. It seems like a horrible time to do this but I’m looking to go back to work next year full-time so now is the best time. And my in-laws live in my neighborhood so they are on board to help.
I would love to hear from anyone with young kids when going through the post surgery recovery and what it was like. The doctor believes I might be able to do more of a mini tuck. And for my breasts I would prefer to keep them small and perky so I am constantly disagreeing with the doctor about “someday I’ll wish I went bigger”. I want to go smaller (175cc-200cc) so that I’m borderline B/C cup. Call me crazy, right? I’m a runner with strong Norwegian genes so I’ll only get more boney with age. Lol

I don’t think the sizers you tried on look too big. Personally I agree to go bigger but since your goal is to be what you were before and keep your athletic look, the 290s will keep you in your comfortable range. Best of luck to you!

Since you were a C cup before (lucky) I think you can totally pull off the 240cc. I wouldn't go any bigger though. Buttt I'm also pretty biased for smaller breasts so take my opinion with a grain of salt :)

I wish I gone smaller and already considering redo-ing. You can always wear a push up or padded bra for events that you want a little extra. But if you just want to fill out what you have, stick to your guns and don't let a surgeon talk you into the idea of boob greed. And look for pictures of real breasts as wish pics, not just small boobs jobs--I think my boobs perspective became really clouded after looking at so many BAs and I forgot that I really didn't want "amazing pert but natural boobs." I just wanted to be able to FILL OUT a push up bra for occasions. And otherwise, stay lean and slim. Good luck to you!

MMO with herniated belly button and diastasis repair, 250cc BA, tummy tuck scheduled for 12/31/18!

Getting so nervous. I have twin 17mo olds and a 4 year old. Thankfully they’ll be in daycare FT for a couple weeks. My mom is staying with us for the first week. I’m more nervous about the recovery and not being able to lift 24# children into car seats and high chairs during the 3-4 week post-surgery timeframe. But I’m buying a toddler table and chairs for them to eat at (no high chairs), and I’m going to try and schedule lots of play dates with friends who are willing to help. Thankfully my hubby is a biz owner whose work load is slower in January. Any recovery tips from people are greatly appreciated!!!!

After much research and conversations with women who have had this done, my husband I agreed to wait another year so my twins will be 2.5 and more self sufficient (less lifting demands). I’m selfishly sad about this because I was so eager to get this done, but I’m a mom who needs to put her kids first right now and theres no way they will be able to do a month without me lifting them (that will be hard on me too). Another year of hiding this hideous hernia under my clothes! Blah.

Hi there! I was checking in and got so excited for you!! I understand your decision to wait though., it’s a big recovery. And really that will give you another year to research and obsess over it (haha..if you’re anything like me!) I will say as long as you have people that really will help - especially that first week.. the recovery really wasn’t as bad as I thought. Maybe I just set myself up for the Worst, but I would do it over again in a second. You asked how I was doing and I am doing great- I just got kinda freaked by having pictures online so I deleted my review. But everything is going well and I cannot believe this is even possible! I have been back at the gym for almost 4 weeks now and can’t wait to go on my first run (really just waiting bc of the rain/cold weather!). I had to buy special bras from lululemon to run in for support. I went bra shopping and holy crap I’m a 32DD now! I was shocked... but also so happy! Lol Enjoy your time with your littles and in time it will happen (If you want it to)! I think the hernia fix/muscle tightening was my favorite thing about the whole MM. everyone thought I’d love the boobs the most but really they’re just an added bonus!
