Looks so good!

You look incredible, re the belly button being off centre I wouldn't have known if you hadn't pointed it out. Your breast implants are a perfect size and proportion for your body and lifestyle. A great result I'd say. Congratulations!

Super sad about the belly button being off center and ugly (because I’ve spent my whole life wanting a normal innie like everyone else) but overall still so happy I did this!!!!!

I think you look amazing - I'd love to look that way! I didn't notice the belly button until you called it out - I guess just ever so slightly off but I bet there are alot of natural belly buttons that are slightly off center? If you're really bothered about it, have you asked your PS about it?

Wow!! It is amazing when we go through motherhood the changes that happen to our bodies, mind and self esteem. So happy that you are making positive changes to love your body and be comfortable in your skin. You look fantastic! Happy healing!

Thanks a ton!!! Doing this was a fine line between feeling selfish/self-absorbed (?) and desiring confidence and a reward for everything my body went through (years of hormones trying to conceive included). So thank you for the positive comment. Hug

I think you look great! I am your height and was 135 pre-twins and had a twin belly like yours. How big were your babies if you don't mind me asking? I am 158 lbs now and have around 4" ab separation and a hanging belly flap from my 10.7 lb daughter and my twins were 15 lbs together. Anyway, your story is inspiring. How did you lose all the baby weight? Probably a dumb question since you are a marathon runner

Ha! Thanks for the comments. I suppose good family genetics helped a lot with weight loss, as well as running around all the time and forgetting to eat sometimes... But yes, running is a great way to get lean quickly - and has its obvious cardio benefits. :) My twins were 5# each.

Thanks for the answer. My genetics were good until 40 when I had the twins now the weight stays on

Hi, did you have lower back pain before the T/T? - if you did, has the op helped with the back pain? And you look awesome! Im booking in to get a breast reduction and TT in Feb 2021, Ive been running like crazy trying to get as fit as possible - Do you think having good cardio fitness going into surgery helped?

Week 10- ran 5 miles

runningmomsize2
Feeling good running and doing lower body workouts like cycling, box step ups and squats. Ran 5 miles at 8:20 pace so feeling good with progress there. Keep in mind I didn’t have lipo so not sure how that may affect others’ recovery and getting back to the gym for anyone considering this mommy makeover. Super bummed my belly button is off center by like a half inch. But maybe no ones is ever perfect. And I don’t plan on being a 37 yr old mom wearing crop tops. :)

You look great!! Bellybutton doesn't look off-centered to me:) I can hardly tell if it is!!
December 16, 2019
Thank you for all of this! I have literally the exact same body measurements as you (5’7”, 132#) and am also athletic. I carry a bit more in my abdomen so I’d get a bit of lipo as well. I have 3.5 yr old twins and have been wanting to fix my stomach as well but was concerned about all of the recovery. This is so helpful! How long do you think it was before you could pick your twins up again (mine are 28 and 32 lbs)? Could you do it sooner if they hopped on the couch (or anything elevated)?
January 17, 2020
My twins are both under 30#. By 6 weeks I could definitely pick them up but honestly you will just know and feel your restrictions. I verbally told my kids over and over that I have "owies" and can't do certain things so they understood and I'd just hug and hold them while on my knees. You'll be fine!!!

You look amazing!! What size are your breast B?
January 17, 2020
Hi! Surprisingly I'm a 32D/34C. I am wide in the rib cage (birds chest?) so I carry them wider and they look smaller. Same size as my pre-pregnancy one! Very happy. Of course I could've gone bigger a little so I do laugh at myself for worrying so much between 25cc sizes - I should've been thinking more in 50cc amounts

I enjoy following your journey thanks for sharing! I too am a mom of 3 (all boys, 3,6,9) and no one near doe support but I saved some vaca and got some medical leave time which is nice! So I'll have about a full month off of work. I can't wait to get back to running and the gym... lol!
January 17, 2020
Nice! Just tell your boys they'll need to help more. It's surprising how much we train our kids that we need to take care of them when really by age 2.5 they're able to do a lot ;)
January 17, 2020
Oh no, not in my house. We have little Mr. Independents lol. And they all, even the 3 year olds do chores too! Only way a working mom can survive?!
December 17, 2019
Nice job on the run! I can only hope I recover and get back to running as quick as you did :)
January 17, 2020
Good luck! Just listen to our body and stay off your feet as much as possible the first 2 weeks. Crucial!!!
