Lost 100 pounds needed to correct a ton of loose skin in my face. I had been thinking about this procedure for almost three years. I feel like I hung in there as long as I could. It's only my 2nd day of recovery but so far I have no regrets. Maybe my double chin and hooded eyes should not have bothered me so much - but they did. I spent 3 years saving for this procedure and I'm glad That I did.

Day 3 Hanging in there

I look a lot worse then I feel. I really have not had to take much pain medication. I only told a few people in my family about the procedure; I think some of them are a little shocked. Oh well. It was a very personal decision and I suppose people will always judge plastic surgery but so far I have no regrets.

I treated myself to a Sephora Haul and picked up a few eye palettes and good blending brushes. With my hooded eyes I have not been able to wear eyeliner in 6 or 7 years. And my bottom eye hasn't seen eyeliner in a decade. I can't wait to do a "smokey eye" - it will be a great day.

I also had an eyebrow lift so overall I'm hoping I look great. I've been too embarrassed to put a photo on my Linked In profile because I felt I looked so old. Once I'm healed and can wear makeup that's the first photo that's going up. Maybe on-line dating to follow - don't want to get ahead of myself.
