Exceptionally Fine Results

Thank you! The pain wasn't bad and I only used the prescription pain killer for one day after surgery then switched to Tylenol. After couple days it wasn't even pain just a lot of soreness getting in and out of bed kind of thing. I stayed home from work two and a half weeks to recover. I did not find the liposuction to be an issue with actual pain. The only thing I hated were the 2 drains I had attached to remove fluid for about 9 days. More annoying to empty them than having them on. I had one tiny section of scar line wound in front that took bit longer to heal than the rest but my Doctor guided me on what to do to treat it successfully. Getting a lot of protein is very important to good healing. It took me only four days to be fully standing but I'm a very active person. I had a lot of excess skin but not so much fat. My results really are amazing as I have a flat, tight stomach and abdominal muscles feel great. I I wear compression garments as instructed to o or swelling. I'm almost into fifth month post op and no swelling or most part. At our age, I believe choice of highly competent and skilled surgeon is paramount. If you are healthy 66 is not too late for cosmetic surgery. Best of luck to you if you elect have it!
