My First Plastic Surgery Ever at DA- Rhinoplasty
WORTH IT
Hello everyone!
I got rhinoplasty at DA Plastic Surgery Clinic on August 25th and today marks two months post surgery and I thought I’d share here.
Before deciding on DA, I visited many clinics in the gangnam area. I would like to say that it is important to do research before coming as I didn’t do much myself. Some of the clinics that said they offered English service- didn’t. Others wanted me to pay a deposit right after the consultation-when I wasn’t ready. It might just be me, but some of the clinics had a very poor organization of space like in the reception area, people were sitting very close to each other which made me feel unsafe especially during the pandemic.
DA was one of the last clinics I visited when I had almost decided to give up on the idea of surgery altogether. I guess I was just so glad to see that they had a spacious lobby area and enough space for social distancing. I was also pleased with the English-speaking service and the doctor could understand some English too so it was pretty convenient. I already had another consultation booked later that day but the consultant didn’t pressure me to give a deposit and told me to contact him after I made up my mind- which I did the next day and booked for a surgery the day after.
Since this was my first surgery, it was all very new but it didn’t hurt half as much as I was expecting which was good. For the first week, I had a lot of bruises under my eyes and around my nose and there was a lot of swelling too. But once the bruising went away and the swelling got better, I could see the improvement. Today marks my second month after surgery and I’m pretty happy with how my nose looks. Although there is still some swelling left, I can definitely tell that my nose looks higher and my side profile looks prettier. My recovery period isn’t over yet but I’m pretty happy with how it looks even now.
