day 2 and 3post op
Yesterday was very difficult because I had a migraine from 3am-6pm and the pain meds hardly helped. I had not gone to the bathroom for 3 days and I was feeling very painful because of that. I was in bed all day because I could hardly stand. Milk of magnesia didn't help either. I was thinking maybe I was having caffeine withdrawals. I decided this morning to drink a cup of coffee, well I only had to drink half to get the job done. Now I have no pain whatsoever, and I can finally get my house cleaned since I'm the only one who lifts a finger around here :/ I'm just so glad the pain is gone. I did tell my dr I didn't want any extreme results or a huge butt, just a little more shape than what I already had, so I am happy with the results so far.
First post op appt
This morning was my first day post op. I was very surprised at how comfortable I slept and I was able to make breakfast for my family and my fiancé helped me shower with baby wash. I went to my first appt and met with both doctors that worked on me, and they said I am healing very well. They confirmed that about 715ccs and 780ccs were transferred in order to make my butt even. I feel like the recovery process has been an easy one so far and I hope it continues to be that way. Here are some pics from this morning.

Day of treatment
I have hated my lovehandles since being a teenager and they have ruined my ability to love myself. I finally realized I am not getting any younger and I need to do this for myself. Dr Commons along with Dr Boudreault did lipo to my sides/flanks/lateral thigh and transferred it to my butt. During the consultation, Dr Commons listened to what I wanted and took many pictures, had them printed immediately, and went over exactly what would be done by marking the pictures. This was extremely helpful in imaging the outcome of my procedure. He answered my questions thoroughly and gave me a reasonable quote. Scheduling the surgery was easy and required a $1000 deposit. I went to my pre-op and met Dr.B who was super friendly and had some great suggestions on how my body should be contoured. The anesthesiologist called to introduce himself yesterday. Today I had my procedure, and I was very impressed on how the surgery center was ran. I only got good vibes. I was nervous but the reassuring staff including the nurse made me feel like I was very safe. The procedure took a little over 4 hours and I woke up in the compression garment in the post op room. The nurse was a kind lady who let me know my sister was on her way. I went home 1.5 hours after the procedure and have felt pretty good all day. I am able to eat, walk around, and lay on my stomach comfotably with a pregnancy body pillow and a boppy pillow. I know tomorrow will feel different, but so far so good. I have been taking pain meds and took nausea meds only one time.
