I'm a try and stick to the basics and update appropriately so that I can help others contemplating going through this process. Also, I didn't find not one review on real self about my plastic surgeon so I wanted to write reviews about him in case someone else is attempting to find more information on him.
I have been contemplating getting a tummy tuck for the past few months, however, I never thought I would actually go through with it, but I have scheduled my procedure for Dec 12th. I have 2 kids, a 4 and a 2 year old and delivered both of them by C-section. I went in for my first consultation back in August and was referred to Dr. Antoinetti by a good friend. He was the only doctor I consulted with and I really liked him. When you first meet him, he sort of has a flat affect and appears stand offish but because I have been perceived that way myself (which is untrue), I connected with him and I thought he was very professional, upfront, respectful and kind. He answered all of my questions and I was reassured that I wanted this procedure done. He suggested lip of the upper abdomen and flanks with tummy tuck with muscle repair and I agreed with his recommendation. His assistant, Brittany, is wonderful and very nice. I email her with questions from time to time and she always respond. A week or so after my consultation, I went in to submit my deposit of $500 (non-refundable) and because I was still anxious, I had additional questions for Dr. Antoinetti. He stepped in and re-examined my abdomen again and reassured me that I was a great candidate. I went in again today to view additional before and after photos with his assistant Brittany, because he only has 2 pictures on his website. He stepped in again and answered some additional questions that I had. He examined my abdomen again for the third time, lol, to make sure we were both on the same page. He never made me feel like I was getting on his nerves or bothering him but I just wanted to be sure that my expectations were realistic and that I would achieve the results I am seeking for. Oh, and the best thing about it is: NO DRAINS!!!! He performs a relatively new technique that allows him to not utilize drains and often referred to as "Drainless Tummy Tuck".
Even though my photos doesn't look like it, I have an athletic build but since having my last child, I can not get a hold of this stomach. I work out 5 x a week but haven't worked out in a month. I can't go more than 3 days without working out or eat a piece of bread without it showing in my abdomen area. It's very frustrating and I am tired of starving myself to loose the fat around my waist line. I'm 5'4 and I weigh 168. A month ago, I weighed 160 and was hoping to get down to 150 by now, but that didn't happen. My plan is to loose at least 10 pounds in 2 months. I want to loose the weight in a healthy way by eating healthy and working out. 168 is the heaviest I have ever been. According to my height, I should weigh between 125-150 (I think). At 125, I look like a crack head, so I'm hoping to get down to 145. At 145, I look my best and I already have a muscular build. So me at 145, looks like one of my friends at 122. Muscle weighs more so that's why we look the same but weigh differently. Will continue to update as I go through this process.

Ready to be on the flat side
It seems like the closer I get to the surgery the date, the more bad foods I consume and I normally eat healthy. Need to start back working out so I can strengthen my legs and arms because my fear is that my stomach will be "snatched" and my other body parts will be flabby. Need to start getting some supplies but I just feel so overwhelmed and anxious about the procedure.

Been working out
Been working out and I don't have much weight to loose, however, if I eat one piece of bread, my stomach will start hanging over my pants. My hubby thinks I don't need a tummy tuck and that I should just go extra hard in the gym to achieve the results I desire. I've been at it for 4 years and have yet to achieve the results I am looking for. I already have all of the supplies I am going to buy because I don't want to purchase too much. Since I am an RN, I already have in stock gauze, normal saline, peroxide, antibiotic ointment. I ordered a walker ($14.99) and a toilet seat riser ($19) from Walmart and all I need now is the board to put in between your CG and tummy and a shower chair. I have a recliner already that I can use. I didn't order the fancy stuff like electric recliner and hospital bed. Since I'm paying all cash for this surgery, I can't afford to pay for anything else. Nervous and excited all at the same damn time!!!!
