thank you! The scars should be pretty well hidden on the interior part of the lips. They already are on my upper lip, and I hope they will be on my bottom lip as the rest of my swelling is gone. But even now I don't think anyone but me would notice the scars. When a little more time has passed I will post a photo with lips open.
I am almost a year post Lam lip reduction-they look amazing. Best decision I ever made. Time makes them better and better

I had a reduction with another doctor 10 weeks ago and they sides are still very hard and swollen (I think?) did either of you experience this... at 10 weeks I'm uneven and sad... I think I may want to see dr lam for a revision, but Im not sure if I should be more patient... any thoughts would be appreciated. So glad both of you had such a great experience.
You are looking great! I am very interested in your progress so please keep updating . I have a similar issue. Had fat transfer to lips over 10 yrs ago. I cannot really smile now with lips open as no teeth show. I am wanting a reduction in lips. Please keep posting. Any info would be helpful . Thx.
thank you, sorry you have the same problem. I can even speak more easily without my huge lips getting in the way! If you are interested in Dr Lam you can email them photos of your lips, and he will tell you if he thinks he can help you. I'm sure he can. Ask me any questions you want to.
Thanks so much for posting! I had my reduced 10 weeks ago and I feel they are uneven and I now need a revision... I"m thinking of seeing Dr. Lam if he'll see me. Do you feel yours are very even and real looking? I had permanent filler 10 years ago... and I just want natural looking lips)... sigh... (thank you for sharing)
I still have a lot of healing to do. And you probably do too! But yes I feel they are natural looking. The scars are lumpy now so I am massaging and stretching my lips to hasten the softening. You may still have swelling that makes your lip look uneven. But if you send Dr Lam photos of your lips he will tell you if he thinks he can help. I'm sure he can, but he may require you to wait some more months to heal.
Thanks so much. I sent his assistant pics a week ago... just resent as I'm slightly over eager to hear back as after 10 weeks the unevenness seems to be getting worse with less swelling.. I'll keep following your story and try to post my pics as well.. I don't even know how, lol. Thanks so much.

day 5 post op, on the upswing!

Well I'm slowly feeling more normal. My swelling was the worst on day 3 after surgery. Now on day 5 the swelling is noticeably down, so I'm very happy about that. My incisions feel tight and sting a little, but I have no pain to speak of. Still eating soft food for a few more days.

You will love your lips. Lam did mine and they are perfect. 3 months looked good. 6 months looked even better. Time is the key here. Just wait. You will be sooooo happy

You don't look too swollen compared to most I've seen who get this procedure. Dr. Lam is an artist!
thanks, I was pleasantly surprised too. I thought the swelling would be grotesque, and it never was. He gives a steroid dose pack, which helps with that. Dr Lam is an artist, for sure.
