Dr. Lam did a full facial fat transfer in December of 2006. I was swollen for about a week, but after that I was attending my usual social functions and getting comments like "you look great". Even several years after the procedure people were commenting on my great skin. At 56 y/o, my cheeks and undereye areas are still youthfully full, and I would do it all over again. He is really a master at his craft.

If you don't mind me asking, how was the recovery? Did you have much pain, or downtime from the surgery?

There was no pain and almost no bruising. My face was swollen for the first few days, but within a week I was very comfortable being out and about. The procedure was done in late December and in mid-January I attended a business function and received comments about how great I looked.

i would love to see post photos of 2006 - to date. i am considering this procedure. did you have to have "touchups" - if yes did you decide on fillers or more f/g? ;-)))
