Hi All,
Well I go for my 4 month followup on Friday and I've got to admit I'm a bit concerned. As time has gone by, the jowls seem to be returning more and the loose skin on my neck has increased. I will get some pictures posted later today or tomorrow. I have tried to remain upbeat and patient but it's hard when I see these things. I'm really curious to hear what he has to say about it all. I also have a couple of pretty noticeable scars behind my left ear and around both earlobes. The chin scar is better but still more noticeable than I'd like.

Pictures from one month post procedure
Lee22876May 30, 2018
These pictures are from May 21 which is about 4 weeks out. I think they look better than I actually look. (Makeup works wonders) I have my follow up this Friday and I'm definitely going to address some issues that I still have. The scar under my chin is really bad and it is causing a crease between my chin and my neck. And I feel like my "jowls" are coming back as everything relaxes. Still a lot of random nerve pain in my neck and ears that feels like paper cuts. And the scars behind my ears haven't improved very much at all - especially the left side. And still not happy with upper lids. I know I have great improvement in my neck but I'm getting nervous that it's going to come back sooner rather than sooner since I'm already seeing some droop and laxity at only one month. Bottom line - at this point in time, I am NOT a happy camper! I feel like for the cost and risk of major surgery, I shouldn't have ANY "it's better BUT....." issues. I'll follow up after my appointment on Friday.

I think you look beautiful and much much better than the before pictures. I know we are hyper critical of our looks, but I would be very happy with your results. I'm 2 days post op and in pain too. LOTS of swelling and bruising, but my perspective is anything is going to be better than what I had. I was told pain was minimal... not true. I'll keep you up to date on my progress to.. but STAY POSITIVE!

Wow you look fab, but I do get where you are coming from, in the beginning when you are very swollen I think the results are amazing but as time goes on and swelling goes the skin does definitely become more lax. You do need to give yourself at least 6 months to see how it will be, I had lower face and eyes done 18 months ago, after a month I was the same as you, but it did get slightly better, albeit not as good as I would have liked. Also age and quality of skin have to be considered, I was your age when I had my procedure but I did know that my skin was very thin beforehand. Just keep looking at those before pics, the difference is amazing. Enjoy looking good :)

It looks like 15 years of time was erased from your face and neck. I understand what you’re referring to, though! Just keep in mind that it’s still fresh and it takes 6 months before you’ll see the results. Butttt, on the flip side, if you’re not happy, SAY SO! Let him/her know you’re not pleased, and would like some revisions, if you still feel it necessary after six months. But, it’s an amazing metamorphosis. You’re gorgeous. Xoxo

I can certainly understand your concerns. But I personally think your results are excellent and you look great.

Eyelashes fell out!
Lee22876May 9, 2018
Just thought of something else as just an FYI. Many of my eyelashes fell out! From the swelling and trauma to the lid I suppose. They fell in my eyes often so that has added to the eye issues in addition to the fact that I now have big gaps in my lashes. I'm not sure how long it takes for lashes to regrow but I certainly wasn't counting on this. I'm not a false eyelash person either so now I'm just hoping they are regrown by mid July when I go on my 15 year anniversary Alaskan cruise.

I'll have to look into those vitamins. Never heard of them. My lashes have come back for the most part.
